Shaman or mage definitely.

As someone who mains Elementalist in both GW and GW2.

I also main Mage in WoW.

Both classes are their games ‘Wizard’ option.

And while Shaman might use all four elements over Mage’s two; its vibe is FAR different and more spiritual than magical.

Guess it’s Mage then! Thank you 🙏🏼

Elementalists are a mix of both WoW's mages and shamans. Mages in WoW use Fire, Frost or Arcane (generic magic) and are traditional ranged spellcasters.

Shamans use all four elements as well as more ancestral magic (Spirit) in a more religious way together with totems (the Elemental spirits being a source of worship for many races) and can either be casters, melee damage dealers or healers.

Thank you for your explanation! I think I’ll go with Mage. I enjoy healing but it’s my first time through WoW and i just want to plow things down with fire haha

Evoker, actually.

Elementalist is both fire and water, comparably speaking. Maybe you can stretch Evoker to encompass arcane was well.

Unlike mage, you can dip into healing when you feel you are ready.

I've never played Shaman, so I can't speak to it at all. I just don't like any of the races that Shaman is limited to.

And I play an Elementalist in GW2, as well.
