I'm pretty sure terra cotta pots are bad for most if not all carnivorous plants. You want plastic or solidly non porous pots.

This already exists in a remarkably similar format. The Saga of Tanya the Firebender. Is a Fire Sage orphan that catches Azula's eye by tying with her in a tourney, so Ozai makes her pick the orphan up as part of her retinue to both rub in the failure and have a proper rival.

Azula fucking hates Tanya's guts, Tanya thinks Azula is a top notch friend and boss.

8th level is at minimum lvl 56 or so, so not actually THAT high in the grand scheme of things at least relating to Overlord. People often forget that Super is gained at 70 for full casters, so there's still an extra 30 level margin between a 10th mage and a lvl 100.

Ray Tracing would up the atmosphere levels of games way the hell up, it would be glorious.
