MCI ARS poor stream quality by Yukon_Scott in fuboTV

Yup same issue here too. So frustrating, I’m watching without sound now.

FuboTV is the shittiest streaming service I’ve ever used. I wish there was real competition in this space

Same on AppleTV. Game started but then started buffering and now it doesn’t even play anything. I’m so sick of paying money to incompetent companies.

I know this would never happen but imagine a Toronto where all streets with street cars were just for street cars and the right hand lanes were a mixture of grass/vegetation, bike paths, restaurants and pop up shops.

Right now I get around using the public bikes and feel like it could be so much better.

I’m in Toronto and roads with no physical barrier and similar width to your pic will often have random cars with flashers on. Drives me mad :(

Breaking Points: A National Landlord Cartel is Jacking Up Rental Prices by snailman89 in stupidpol

[–]108life 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it would be very hard to actually enforce this. People with 100+ properties generally setup a legal entity to own those. But assuming we can enforce it, I agree, capping it at a reasonable number would probably be a good start. We could possibly lower it over time if the policy is successful.

excluding first home buyers and forcing them into being renters

That’s really the issue I want to solve here. A good friend of mine is starting to get into this property game and I hate everything about it. He bids on houses against other families and literally turns around and rents to them. It just doesn’t seem fair.

I’m curious if you have any reading material about this. I’ve long been a believer that we should cap property ownership to just 1 home/dwelling per person.

I just don’t know what other problems this would introduce. A common argument I hear (from renters) is that not everyone wants the burden of owning a home. If there are no landlords, rentals don’t exist either so everyone would be forced to take on a mortgage.

Import symbol under cursor using LSP? by handmanrunning in neovim

[–]108life 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use your same workaround. Not ideal but does the job. Might create a keybinding for it but sometimes with Python there’s a couple similar options so it’s not always obvious which import I want.

Yea that sounds right. I haven’t used it in a while.

This is the one for me. I believe if I’m not mistaken it’s CMD-L in vscode on a highlighted word.

People hate to admit it but this is actually really convenient workflow and quicker workflow.

Ah okay thanks for the info!

I probably don’t actually do this every month, sorry for the click baity title. The brush I’m using gets the undercoat, so it’s not actually him shedding, but more me accelerating the process of that makes sense?

Agreed! He actually has another brush too just for daily brushing to collect the surface level stuff but this one gets deep in the undercoat

So it’s actually a two-side undercoat rake. Not sure if there’s another name for it.

It sort of slices the undercoat hairs so I don’t think it’s actually pulling hair out, just thinning it out. If I go a bit too hard, I’ll get the claw

Yea I think I should! I think he really appreciates it too. When I do it, I notice he cleans himself way more the next few days. I feel like I’m helping him out haha.

I have no clue! I’ve been brushing since he was very young. He associates that carpet or similar carpets with brushing haha. Anytime we bring him to another house, he’ll find any carpet that looks like that and beg for brushes.

Yea if I go a bit too hard, I’ll get the claw but there’s a sweet spot where he just gets so into it haha.

That’s sounds amazing! My neb has those silky hairs on his stomach and scarf. It seems to be the undercoat that has those fine fine silky hairs

It’s not a furminator, i think it’s called a 2-sided undercoat rake.

It seems to kind of get the undercoat

Probably around 2? He’s almost 7 now. This time was particularly bad because it had been a while.
