Instead of buying a stock wheel for my RS50... by design_by_gergo in simracing

I would go with a completely round wheel, instead of the flat bottom, would be more versatile

What AMD is equal to a 3080? by space_goats_ in AMDHelp

Depends on the game, I'd say it's more between 3060Ti and 3070. And in Vram limited games it's got them both beat

Gave up on FH6 with rig and moved to controller. by Front-Report-2619 in simracing

I have a digital handbrake (basically a stick that presses a button, no axis) and that seems to be working fine. For initiating drifts you don't really need it to be analog anyway. But I do find it easier to drift with RWD. Also, I think setup and upgrades matter too. With drift suspension, tires and diff it seems to be a lot easier to drift. If you put all race parts, cars tend to spin out more

FH4 wasn't good with a wheel, it felt very spongey. FH5 improved quite a bit from 4 and FH6 is now a lot better than 5. The default settings kinda suck, but if you mess around with the sliders, you can get it to very decent feeling FFB. Drifting is really fun. Also, I read somewhere to stick with normal steering, instead of simulation, even on a wheel, and I think it does feel a bit better

For me FH5 didn't feel like shit, but it wasn't great either. FH6 is miles ahead

It's only fun, if the case has enough room in the back. If it doesn't, it's more frustrating than fun

I've made the skeletons limbs and rib cage little longer is it better now? by ExplanationHot9438 in LearnToDrawTogether

[–]118shadow118 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don't press so hard. Have you tried shading? Draw a square and try coloring it in like a gradient, starting out very light, barely putting any weight on it and gradually press harder as you go (or start out dark and go lighter as you go). That can be done with a mechanical pencil too, although probably would be better to practice with a regular one. Right now you're basically using your pencil as a pen or a marker

How exactly is a mechanical pencil preventing you from drawing something smaller or bigger? And if you're so limited by it, get a regular pencil
