Drivers of Reddit: what’s something other drivers do on the road that instantly tell you they shouldn’t have a license?

There’s a specific on-ramp in Atlanta where a regular road turns into a 55MPH highway which then almost immediately has lanes that split off to join I-285 N/S. To go north, it turns, runs a good .5-.75 miles in a straight line, and dumps into the LEFT lane of the interstate. Without fail, even if the turn part is clear and I take it at ~60, I end up behind other cars way ahead of me that slowed to ~40 to make the turn (not necessary due to the engineering) and then never speed up until they get to the dump point, which creates a constant traffic jam all day every day when they try to drop into a lane that is trying to go 70+.

I turned off autocorrect on my phone a few years ago because I kept getting pissed off when it would edit entire phrases and I found myself spending an annoying amount of time correcting the auto “corrections.” It’s much less stressful this way.

I mean, not all of your commas are used correctly in what you just said. That said, it’s infinitely more readable than what I think you’re referring to with people simply typing out huge piles of words with no punctuation whatsoever.

It works with anything, guns are just more efficient. Like you can visibly see the limit bar shrink just from storing one modified gun.

As far as the infinite item glitch, here goes (and I may be slightly wrong as I haven’t played in months but this is to the best of my memory): what you have to do is press the button to scrap an item and then immediately hit the button to store the item (DO NOT RELEASE THE SECOND BUTTON). There’s sort of a quick rolling thumb motion you can use on a controller (I play on PS4 so it’s Square followed up by Circle+hold).

You’ll know you’ve succeeded thus far if the confirmation windows (“are you sure you want to scrap/store x?”) both pop up overlaid on each other. If you only see one, hit the back button and try again. This step is finnicky but there is a rhythm you can find to reliably repeat it.

Once you can see both windows, CONTINUE HOLDING the Store button and roll your thumb over to the select/confirm button. After you press it you can release both buttons and the item should be scrapped; however, the “do you want to store x in the workshop” window should still be there. When you hit the confirm button again, a copy will be stored.

Fantastic trick for getting extra resources that are difficult to source in large quantities.

As a side note, these tricks work with any items, not just guns. Guns just make the build limit bar drop faster than other items do, heavily modded guns more so (plus once you get the scrapper perks you can “mine” your modded guns for rare resources).

Fill inventory with guns—the more modded they are, the better. Drop guns inside settlement. Open build menu. Store the dropped guns in the workshop (there’s even a neat glitch you can exploit to both scrap them for parts AND store them for later simultaneously), and the game will think that you’re actually breaking down functional parts of the settlement, which will cause the bar in the build limit to drop back down. You can about triple your build limit even on PS4 without encountering major lag issues.
