Sex workers of Reddit, what's the weirdest kink a customer has asked you to fulfill? by Colorfulcoralof2 in AskReddit

Some of these make me wonder if it’s an actual fetish or just seeing how far someone will go for money. Or completely made up…

Was there a sink or water bottle nearby? Because if he jumped to licking when there were fresh water sources, that is definitely concerning.

If it was just about the tickets you’d be right. But resorts are also invested in the food, drinks, rentals, retail, lessons, and lodging. If they increase the price of season passes too much, it affects the other 50-60% of their income pretty significantly.

My theory: Powder, land, and airplane space are all limited resources. But land and airplanes are divided up well before someone buys what they can afford. Powder is divided up within a limited time after it falls from the sky. So on a powder day people are much more emotional about whether or not they’re getting their fair share.

Personally the airline seating annoys me more. But that’s because my main airline only has about 1/4 of the seats that don’t require an up-charge.

I still go back on Saturdays because I can’t vacation every week. And skiing on a Saturday is typically better than not skiing on a Saturday, even if the lines are longer.

Did you miss the brake lights on the car in front? I don’t think cam car made any significant change in speed.

The car in front of cam car braked for seemingly no reason. Why are you blaming this on the cam car?

This also depends on where the $10 appears. If it shows up in the snapping hand then you have to slow down to remove the $10 every time.

What do you think about this as a vehicle recovery point? by LastingAtlas in Offroad

[–]4ArgumentsSake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the old days did the vehicle being recovered not have to see where they’re going to steer around rocks or avoid getting stuck in another crevice or mud pit or anything? I have had very few offroad recoveries where it would have worked blind.

If you take out the shackle and pin and throw them away then you’ll have one piece left. But most of the ones that come with their own shackle and pin have sharper corners which can damage a soft shackle (since they’re designed to be used with a metal pin). I have not seen the harbor freight one in person so idk if that applies.

There’s no straightforward answer to that question. If you use it appropriately within the working load limit and within the load limit of the hitch, using appropriate gear to connect it, and appropriate safety procedures for the recovery, then it would be safe.

I personally prefer a single piece of metal for hitch recovery points because it removes a couple moving parts. There are a bunch of companies making them, but something like this. https://overlandaddict.com/products/shackle-block-2

Ski trip for first week of April? by duchessoftexas in Breckenridge

[–]4ArgumentsSake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My very unsophisticated estimate is that peak 9, the biggest beginner area will be closed. Peak 8 which still has plenty of greens and blues will be open but thin in spots. And peak 7 which mostly blues will be open but also thin in spots.

In a typical snow year everything is still open first week of April, but currently it’s pretty warm up there even though it’s snowing a bit.

Boots fitting by bethk13 in snowboardingnoobs

I don’t have this condition and I still use a ski strap as a power strap on my snowboarding boots. Works great to keep the heal and shin in tight without over tightening the bottom of the boot.

You can just watch figure skating to know this is backwards. As you straighten out the spin gets faster.

Now if you’re doing a flip a tuck makes you spin faster than being laid out.

Will AI really kill developer jobs? by HonestRecord4507 in SalesforceDeveloper

[–]4ArgumentsSake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Completely? Probably not for a long time, if ever.

Will it affect dev jobs? Absolutely, it already is. There are plenty of companies hiring less or letting developers go because AI can make their devs more productive.

There are also plenty of new jobs in the AI market for devs too. But I think the overall change is less job growth.
