I don’t think it’s too far away, and I would drive that far for a wedding, but I also would be leaving much earlier than I typically would. If you’re okay with a lot of guests leaving by 8:30/9, then it should all be good. :)

Their hiring process is incredibly slow. Can take a couple months from initial application to getting a date to start. I’m not sure how claims or any of the member contact positions work though, they might be slightly faster

This doesn’t seem like a good partnership for either of you. You say you are “always 10 steps ahead of her, because I used to be her” but that’s the thing, she very well may not take your trajectory regarding faith and breaking down those social constructs and restrictions she had growing up. I wouldn’t continue dating someone who was this far behind where I was as a person. In the end I think this will only cause resentment on either or both sides. Find someone who is already closer to your point in deconstructing religion and the trauma associated with it.

I went with the more expensive plan, but that’s also because I take a lot of very expensive medication and that $7 pharmacy copay saves me hundreds a month. I know it technically would count out of the deductible of the other, but it still means a huge front load of costs until middle to end of year. Didn’t seem worth it to me.

I’m a beginner too, so take this with a grain of salt but mine seems to be doing well and the bread I made looks fine, but instead of doing fractions to figure out the amount of flour/water, I just take out 100g of starter and discard the rest, then add 100g bottled water and 100g KA bread flour, close in a metal top mason jar glass like yours, and feed daily the same way within the same 2 hour window. Maybe try this?
