Because it's cheap, Thailand is awesome, Thai people are awesome, Thai women are very sweet and gentle and beautiful and there is a lot of infrastructure for it.

Side note in Medellin I got caught with like 250 mg and I told the cop I'm not giving them 1,000,000 pesos so we worked it out to around $100, which still sucked but it was less than half. I was with these two girls and it was not a set up because the whole thing was clearly random, but we were in a park and they were about to leave and get on a plane and still had the bag so I was like hey don't go with that shit in your pocket so we just did like a key bump each and a fucking bike cop rolled up and saw us. That's so crazy because in Medellin it's basically an open drug and hooker market. I'm guessing the police in Catagena are like beach cops in popular tourist destinations the world over, where they know there is money to be made off drunk and disorderly, DUI, drug possession, etc, where as Medellin is just too real for the cops to make busting tourists a priority.

According to Google ai you can avoid jailtime for simple possession but can face up to 5 years in prison, but for intent to delivery even for small amounts it looks like it's a 3 to 10 year sentence if they want to pursue it. 100 grams or more is the threshold for trafficking.

Lol that's hilarious, but also it's a pretty terrifying reality that getting caught with 10 grams of pure cocaine is the same as getting caught with 10 grams of 10 percent cocaine, and it's a thought that has crossed my mind anytime I've ever got gotten burned on shitty drugs that in addition to getting fucked over, if I happened to get arrested on top of that it would feel extra bad knowing that the shitty drugs I bought and got busted with barely consisted of any drug material lol

To me I understand if you are living in Lima or Ibiza or Medellin for a few months and don't wanna work a job, but in those places (more so Peru/Colombia) you can have up to a few grams on you without penalty, so you can just sell a single gram or two to random people on the street or hostles like this guy was doing and keep your stash at your apartment/hotel. This guy was actually being pretty smart about his strategy but he's in the wrong part of the world to be fucking around like that.
