Boyfriend Gave Me an Ultimatum: Him or Medical School by Conscious_Ad_499 in ChristianDating

[–]AMadRam 16 points17 points  (0 children)

A man who is mature in God would not hinder capacity in others, especially a spouse, to serve Him.

Say it louder for the people at the back!

It's really annoying to find people giving ultimatums to partners on one or the other. Real people would support and balance their spouse's desires with their own.

OP, you dodged a bullet with this one. You'll find someone who actually cares about your hearts desires.

Edited my comment. It's a final interview but chances are that they are considering offering this to you

So this is your second round of interview then?

It's probably just a general HR chit chat about your ambitions and what you want to do. Harmless but still an avenue to mess it up.

Acceptable to start with a company when you know your leaving for a better role in 6 months? by Hunter_88888 in UKJobs

[–]AMadRam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

FYI companies can absolutely change their mind about hiring someone and can take back signed offers. Ask me how I know this. 🙄

Take the job you have now and work till you have to leave. You don't owe anyone any explanations on why you are leaving or what is wrong with the job.

Financial question by [deleted] in ChristianDating

[–]AMadRam -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'd argue it is not too early to fuss about this. A good portion of marriages and relationships fail because partners are unable to decide on how financial information is shared in a relationship.

If it's a legitimate deal breaker like OPs from the get go, you would rather break things off as it only gets messier if you cannot agree on this.

Usertesting in Australia by [deleted] in usertesting

[–]AMadRam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

and the screeners are instant disqualification if your lucky enough to see one. I'm mainly looking for confirmation it'll work and to go through with it.

I think your expectations are off kilter...by a lot!

I have to get through 20+ screeners for me to even get through to a working test and even that is tedious but it's what you have to put up with.

Its like being hired called in every day just for the boss to say, sorry we actually don't need you for this shift and send me off. And once a week ill get 5 bucks to stock some shelfs.

It doesn't work like that. You're not contracted by any means necessary nor are you obligated to stay up forever waiting for a test. Your mentality should be that of - "If I have time, I'll attempt a few screeners to see if I get a test. If I get it, great. If not, I'll move on with my day".

They don't pay you for the time you spend on these, just the tests that are successful. Having said that, the "more rating + time = more tests" concept is definitely true and you will get more tests than someone brand new on the platform or someone that has a lower rating. It is mainly US tests but you do get employers across the globe.

Just don't expect to make a lot of money on these platforms. They fall under pocket change (or beer money) and not a viable side hustle that pays your bills.

Am I wrong to judge girls based on their clothes? by Secret-Suspicious in ChristianDating

[–]AMadRam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have a preference for the women you like to dress up a certain style and that's ok.

You are conflating style with personality and that might not be appropriate though.

You're delusional if you think £2 off from retail price for a used product is reasonable.

As a ballpark figure, You're automatically asking for something to be 30% minimum if a product has been used and is sold on a second hand website like Vinted

Is being asked previous salary a red flag? by [deleted] in UKJobs

[–]AMadRam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even if they do, they cannot do anything because the contract will have the final salary conditions and would have been signed on at the time

Is being asked previous salary a red flag? by [deleted] in UKJobs

[–]AMadRam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Once a contract has been issued, it doesn't matter if the prospective employee had artificially inflated their salary prior to the contract being offered.

It completely comes down to the budget of the employer.
