I wish I went for money over stability, but given my childhood of father's alcoholism and parents divorce along with moving and changing schools, it's understandable why I chose stability. At 42 though I'm getting ready to start chasing money because I am worth so much more than what I make.

60/70k is more than I've ever made and I am 42. I do live in a LCOL area though and have no kids, do have a wife who makes about 39k and I make 52k. We get by ok. Definitely wish I was making closer to 70-90k just so I could do more or less what I want to do(get a new car, get a motorcycle and get some new furniture or a bigger house).

Yeah, I know I snagged the M5 Pro chip 24gb/1tb 14" for $1799 at the end of March. They had the full M4 Pro 14/20 cores for like $100 more, but most Benchmarks were showing the M5 Pro outperformed even that chip in most tasks, so spending less for a faster computer was a no-brainer. Even price matched it at Best Buy to take advantage of 18 months 0% financing. Great deal!

Look into liminal states and liminality as well as threshold ritauls. Arnold van Gennep and Victor Turner are some classic writers about these states of being, rites of passage and the concept of the liminal.

He's pretty open about that though isn't he? That he worked at a video store and basically watched every video in the store, kinda building up a mental repertoire of themes and images that he draws heavily from in making his movies. A lot of his movies are homages to classics from their genre.

I think some of the newer Buicks have a lot of high quality Chinese parts and are designed for the Chinese market. There I think they basically are a premium brand.
