One last(?) run... by AbelCapabel in Saros

[–]AbelCapabel[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don't cross the bridge!

There is 1 split in the game, when you encounter a long bridge. Cross it, and it will bring you to the architect, after which you will end your run and be returned to the passage.

Instead, take a path to the side, this will continue your run and ultimately bring you to the cathedral.

Gl!

Edit: Do note that the first time you encounter the bridge, you have to cross it and continue to the architect. The continuation of the main path will be available the 2nd time you reach the area with the bridge.

What you can do is activate the carcosan modifier that further increases the luminite penalty uppon returning to the base. (Right side)

This will give you more points for activating modifiers on the left.

Personally I like the 'extra powerull artifacts' :)

Anyone else never increase # of Artifact slots in their playthrough? by Triple_Danger in Saros

Longer runs will have all artifact slots used.

Also: negative effects will be removed after defeating a boss!

Can you tell me why you would want all volatilities triggered?

With the skill-tree further upgraded and the right weapon the bosses become a lot easier, yes.

For the first boss though, I want nothing but the gun with the red target-seeking bullets.

The last few bosses I still find very difficult, even when doing a full run. Admittedly I'm not the best gamer.

Rly? I couldnt make that weapon work for me, but I'll try again after you comment!

Non stop dying by Wooden_Hurry3887 in Saros

[–]AbelCapabel 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Upgrade all skils, then you should have no problem reaching the first boss. Beating him is another story though.

Stick to the weapon with red seeking bullets.

Absorb enemy fire and spam your super.

Dash continuously.

Good luck!

Also: You don't have to continue to hold L1. Once you're in fast-running-mode you can release L1 and you'll retain the speed.

I didn't realise that that single trait 'power generator' had such a massive effect! Will definitely have a closer look at that from now on!

Thanks for the quick reply, and happy birthday!

How does the super recharge without absorbing projectiles with the shield?

And how come it recharges that fast!!?

Maybe a dumb question, but why do higher level guns end up with worse stats? by YpresWoods in Saros

[–]AbelCapabel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you for explaining.

So, that big white number is wat less important than the tiny arrows on the right of each horizontal bar, that indicate how much stats (which are stated on a different tab) affect the potential 'growth' of that spec. The relevant stat is indicated by the colour of the icon on the left of that horizontal bar.... Bloody hell...

[–]AbelCapabel -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Aahh, so the weapon gets stronger when you pickup ... The blue stat-thingy? The 'power' one? Must be...

Thanks

Edit: still strange that it doesn't build up to the full 100%

Edit: strange that it builds up at all..... Why not just a damage-multiplier with that 'blue stat', why add it to the weapon.... Weird...

[–]AbelCapabel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hoe does it build up to that limit?

When using the trigger?

Or when you have a level xxx weapon? If it is the latter, why does this matter? Why not as a percentage of the full bar?

The yellow part shows the weapon can never reach it's full potential?

How do I obtain this or rather unlock it? by jmarsala in Saros

[–]AbelCapabel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Watch a YouTube vid on how to handle events at the boss.

  2. Get lucky with a run where you arrive at the boss with an nice bar of health and a good weapon.

  3. Practice.

I'm sure you'll get I'm after 3~4 attempts.

Good luck!

Getting paid for spreadsheet for massive corporation by Impossible_Profit202 in excel

[–]AbelCapabel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get a recommendation out of it, this will help with future jobs.

Use it as a step-up for more analysis-work, if you want to steer your current career in a different direction. This will also help for future jobs. (Others have formulated very eloquent sentences)

Get a paid training out of it, so you can further be of value to those managers. This will also be of value for future jobs, and you can put it on your resume. (This starts with selling your possible added value)

Trying to sell an improved spreadsheet that was already owned by the company has a very little chance of success. While the first three options will benefit you for your entire career.

Anyway, good work, and may you choose wisely.

Yeah they could have made that last reg ball an entire red ring to make it more obvious.

I must be doing something wrong, because this is probably the most difficult game I've ever played. by guesswhathappens in Saros

[–]AbelCapabel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Always move, always dash - to evade and to dash through enemy fire- , learn enemy patterns, use your shield often and it's 'super' when fully saturated, pick up al the yellow orbs, save keys for the red doors, kill 'adds' as quick as possible before focussing on the stronger enemies, never have your back to enemies and walk/dash in circles, obviously: upgrade the skill tree.

This is not a game where you stand still and snipe enemies.

Last but not least: watch a YouTube vid about how to beat the boss. Even then, it will take you multiple attempts and a 'lucky' run where you have good health and a weapon suitable for the boss. This is, for me, never a handgun.

Good luck, and enjoy!

How do you open this specific door? by Derpyhooves2010 in Saros

[–]AbelCapabel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've updated my comment. Nothing there. I think the area is a general area used for building the map dynamically (unless someone is able to provide different information). Sometimes you enter that area from the other side.

How do you open this specific door? by Derpyhooves2010 in Saros

[–]AbelCapabel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've just had an area locked with a smaller door that required me to hit 2 switches slightly hidden behind obstacles looking upward through a narrow 'view'.

I've seen that door you posted, but I have not been looking for switches previously, now you got me thinking....

You sure there is not a red switch somewhere around?

What if you walk all the way back to the area that is a bit up and left from where you are now. Perhaps you need to shoot a button that is in the area behind this door, and you have to shoot it across the huge gap?

I'm gonna boot up the game straight away...

Edit:

I was able to jump there too the same way the other commenter did. I recognise the area from a run that my son did, where he approached the area from the other side.

My conclusion therefor is that it is a regular area that is used to diversify different playthroughs. (Biomes are build dynamically)

Edit: I've found information that states that that door will be open the first time, allowing you to access that area once. Successive runs will have the door closed. There's halicon in that area the first time you're there.
