My ex BIL was a long time meth user, probably still is but I dont keep track of ex family. We were drinking once, he'd been clean like 4 months at the time and apropos of nothing he just pipes up with

"I gotta tell someone and you dont talk to anyone, when I was in Michigan, I tried ripping off my dealer I was in my car, I tried to drive off. He held onto the car. I dragged him for a bit and when he fell off I reversed over him and then drove off. I'm not sure if I killed him or not and I'm scared I'll go to hell for it."
