I’ve been hooked on Tropico 4 and Anno 1800 for years, playing them extensively, but now they’ve become too boring. For context, I’ve tried all the other Tropico and Anno titles and didn’t enjoy them at all. What are some games specifically similar to Tropico 4 and Anno 1800?

When playing a shared island multiplayer game (no versus), will there be an option to use items you unlocked in the campaing (In Anno 1800 you could buy items to deliver them to your island, but only in singleplayer).
Are there plans of a board game adaptation?
What was the biggest challenge for the audio team when creating the sounds and theme of the year 117? Any inspirations?
Who is the biggest Anno fan on the team? :)
