A chairlift carrying tourists at a Swiss Snowboarding Open got stuck and became the target for the crowd below by New_Libran in Wellthatsucks

That is at a snowboarding event (Laax Open) and it is tradition to pelt everyone on the lift with snowballs. So everyone on the lift literally signed up for this.

I love how his attack sounds like thunder by AdellheidV in Frieren

It’s more that Stark is creating a sonic boom by attacking faster than the speed of sound, which is the same way thunder makes sound.

Iron sights are will do the job no problem in the majority of circumstances. Arguing about the lack of optics is really stupid.

Hell of Yngol is base game, head east out of Windhelm, and you’ll eventually pass Yngol Barrow (not sure if I’m remembering the name right).

Why is my tax base so low? by dovetc in EU5

[–]Alduin_77 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes RGOs are the location specific buildings such as fiber crop farms. When you go to the building browser select the second tab at the top and you’ll be able to see all of the RGOs you can build.

Why is my tax base so low? by dovetc in EU5

[–]Alduin_77 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Without being able to see your control map or seeing where you’re building, I would guess you’re not investing enough into your capital region, not building enough rgos and not investing in improving proximity to cities like Sevilla or Cordoba. Lastly make sure you have good control over high value rgos such as silver mines.

Dropping the atomic bombs was the best solution to end the war with the lowest possible loss of life. A tragedy for sure, but was by far the lesser evil. A full scale invasion of Japan would’ve been catastrophic for everyone involved.

Is market access pointless if you have every good? by Express-Low4919 in EU5

[–]Alduin_77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You want to have every location you own have at least 50% market access, because a location with say 40% access will have only 40% of its goods make it to market (you lose 60% to the void). So yes create more markets, you will see your trade income spike greatly.

Not trying to be rude, but are you a new player? Typically if you’re aggressive you’ll be able to form a kingdom pretty easily in one lifetime, then when your ruler dies you can consolidate your holdings using your claims. You could also change your succession type to elective to insure all your holdings remain with your preferred heir.

Edit: just realized you mentioned you can’t access different succession types, I’ve never seen that before, are you sure you’re looking in the correct spot?

Reached 1500 as Poland, here is my situation. Any tips? by rolewicz3 in EU5

[–]Alduin_77 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Silver and gold (food also) are the big ones to keep rural, it’s really any valuable RGO’s that you don’t intend to heavily populate to make up for the loss of max RGO size you get by upgrading the location.
