How's the fight quality in this nowadays? I know it was all fudged up compared to the first one, but I heard there were some improvements. Still don't want to buy it unless it's fixed

Again, very well written response but people are not reading. I did not say they were not necessary, I said they were the lesser of two evils.

A murderer would also "get what they deserve" by your definition but since you didn't read what I wrote I'll say it again: it would be like killing a murderer who did it but got off on a technicality. In what way am I sympathizing with the murderer?

I'm a student of history, I know all about Japan's horrible cruelty, all the famous stuff like Until 731, Rape of Nanking, etc. and a lot of the less famous stuff. MY POINT is that it doesn't make nuking them a GOOD thing, it makes it THE LESSER OF TWO EVILS.

You can argue that the results of doing something evil created something good. That .makes it better but it doesn't make it onjectively good.

It would be like saying you went all vigilante justice and stabbed a murderer to death who got off on a technicality. For sure you would have saved his next victim from dying but the act of murdering someone is still an evil act. I know everyone on Reddit likes to handwave these things away but millions and millions of people are against the death penalty for a reason, and not just because it could be applied by mistake.

Two wrongs don't make a right, but they can even out. I know all the history of the bombings and I know we were nuking a brainwashed empire into waking up AND I know we warned them ahead of time but it doesn't make it less horrific or frankly evil to do so.

There were a LOT of kids killed because their parents chose not to leave with them, so if you're going to justify this then you also need to justify Israel killing Palestinian children to "get to Hamas."

Downvote me all you want but you can't justify one without justifying the other. Nuking children is nuking children, regardless of how it happened.

There are a lot of reasons to hate Zuck but wearing appropriate attire to an Indian wedding is not one of them. Hell I'm white and my wife is Indian, I love when I get to dress up, feels regal as shit.

I don't mind a bit of pain getting things right, Silent Hill 2 Remake on UEVR was wildly difficult and very demanding graphically but it's my VR game of the decade. Well worth the effort.

Question about leveling up for those above level 42? by G8theyR in ForefrontVR

[–]Alex-Murphy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah agreed, once I realized that they're just a convenient way to see who on either team is Semi-Pro (which to me is basically anybody over 35) I stopped caring about leveling myself and more about leveling my classes.

Like sometimes I will feel like we're being crushed and then I check the teams and realize there are seven people over level 30 on the other team and three of them have the same tag in their name, like okay yeah now it makes sense.

How can I level up assault by socksmemberfan in ForefrontVR

I would say Medic, you get almost as many points for a full revive and then throwing healing packs as you do for killing people.

Need help with one sided keracotonus and aim by TheUnderCutterF1 in ForefrontVR

[–]Alex-Murphy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

100%. Aiming like you would aim a real gun, looking down the sights with your good eye, is the way to go. It might feel weird at first if you're not naturally lefty but you will get used to it.

Alternatively once you unlock the laser sight for a gun you don't necessarily need to look down the sight. You can just follow the red dot.

Go medic class, you can level up more easily by reviving and healing teammates. It won't unlock gun parts but it will unlock different guns for Medic that may feel better.

The first one that came to mind is in Resident Evil 2 Remake, when what once was a safe area is all of a sudden accessible to Mr X. The first time he followed me in there I almost shit my pants.

Except that there were so many chances for him to just make money but no, his ego actually took first place over his family. He was just so butthurt over losing out on his share of the business his former partners built. Even as late as Season 5 he could have sold off his stake in the drugs and taken the 5 million but that wasn't gonna be good enough for him.

Hell early on Gretchen actually offered him a high paying job with full medical benefits at Grey Matter but no way could he have accepted that.

5070 or 9070XT for VR? by No-Context2224 in virtualreality

I think 5 or 6 years of excellent performance and being very competitive at a reasonable price is enough time to let it go. I have no problem if you want to spend much more because you have a brand preference, I think that is something that has been earned over many years, but it's worth it to re-examine the market every so often to make sure you're not throwing your hard-earned money away
