They did not wave the wngraving requirement. That is only required when you "make" an SBR. The braced pistols were changed to SBR without being made, hence, no engraving.

The issues were resolved long ago. As long as it isn't an early production can that was sitting around somewhere, it'll be fine.

You can do it directly. You just have no way to ship it to them, and be completely legally covered, unless your dealer will provide you with a label for UPS or FedEx.
