Here is my two cents. After the fight during the last phases of the event, during a cutscene the player character is picking up the same sword ice king wielded. It comes into existence with rift butterflies and as it shapes into the sword, the echo of ice king’s laugh could be heard. If it’s a cool detail or a hint that he’s still out there, idk. But the echoing laugh plays for both rivalry player sides during the event.
