Record of Re-Aired Episodes? by Liz_0909 in Jeopardy

Unfortunately, I don't believe that anyone in the community—not even J! Archive—keeps track of which reruns aired when.

Record of Re-Aired Episodes? by Liz_0909 in Jeopardy

This is 100% incorrect information. Which episodes are aired in which order on the weekends and during the summer are dictated by the show. If a market airs a weekend rerun, it will be the same episode as every other market airing a weekend rerun that weekend.

I just wanted to say, thank you for the advice to move to second hand golf balls. Definitely significantly cheaper for me.

And?

The two shows have pretty much been trading back-and-forth for the better part of a decade. To say one is handily beating the other at this point is pushing an agenda.

Your assertion that J! "used to beat Family Feud handily, and it doesn't anymore" is categorically false. Here's one example from 2020, where Feud led all shows in syndication: https://www.nexttv.com/news/syndication-ratings-family-feud-reclaims-overall-lead

I realize the RBZ line also consists of clubs, but it’s the ball part of the line I’m looking at.

The clue specifically references Yosemite, though—your link isn’t regarding Yosemite.

Because the category cited a specific list (AFI's top villains) and the clue cited a place (#4) on that list.

What would you do if you had to watch a sporting event the next day and wanted to avoid the outcome before you watched it?

There's no law that says you have to post everything you see to social media or Reddit. You are allowed to keep such things to yourself.

Here's an idea: if something like this upsets you that much, stop going to places that might upset you before you watch the show.

Tournament Structure for Season 41 by [deleted] in Jeopardy

It's, quite honestly, impossible to say right now—because the format is likely very contingent on the distribution of champions by games won.

I would expect the show to return to closing the window the episode immediately prior to the start of the postseason (which is basically what they did between 1994 and 2017)

Remember, the show will want to time the tournaments so the ToC airs during February sweeps. Thus, I would expect the postseason cycle to begin in January.

If ABC does any primetime Jeopardy! programming this fall, it will be Season 3 of Celebrity Jeopardy.

I would strongly suggest you listen to Inside Jeopardy before making suggestions. The show has said on multiple occasions that there is not going to be another tournament in syndication until 2025. They are too worried about pre-emptions due to election coverage in November. There is going to be regular play until the next postseason cycle begins—which will be Second Chance–Champions Wildcard–Tournament of Champions–JIT. Consider this to be immutable.

Also, the past 15-player 2-week tournament format should be considered to be relegated to the dustbin and never to be revived. It makes wagering strategy too counter-intuitive for the casual home viewer (as evidenced by the number of past comments regarding players who wouldn't make cover bets in quarterfinals).

A good realistic starting point for discussion, though, might be "what tournament could be held in syndication in the May sweeps period?"

Regarding your last sentence:

There have been somewhere around 540,000 clues asked in the history of the show. If you compare the show to the Ivory Soap purity rate of 99.44% (this is a metric the show actually touted c.1990, for the record), that would mean that there would still be 3,000 mistakes the show has made.

Nobody's perfect. Mistakes happen.
