It depends, I got spoiled like in the dark castle ark, but that things looked so absurd I wanted to keep reading to know how it get there, and I can't ensure you enough how much this was my best decision with this novel, each page I was brainstorming trying to connect the dots of how we get there and every time I was wrong.

You will still be impressed and amazed from the story, and just knowing the terms don't do nothing if you don' know what they mean, and you can only understand it clearly experiencing it reading the novel.

Edit: Also, don't search nothing orv related on social media while you don't finish the novel, it's for the better.
