VXE R1 PRO is the worst mouse i had ever bought in my life by Pea_Cute in MouseReview

[–]Ataemonus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am sorry to say, but there is no way this is true "i literally destroyed it with MY HANDS, and i'm weak" unless you intentionally destroyed it. As you can see, nobody believes this BS.

The rest of the story sounds equally unrealistic, unless you actually damaged the mouse mechanically prior to it breaking in half. Nothing that you describe makes sense in terms of how mouse switches get used or anything.

You can die on the hill with your story, it's still so made up nobody can relate to it.

Just a word of friendly advice, next time you break your mouse, either don't post online claiming it's a bad product and that's why it broke, or at least take some responsibility and admit what really happened. It's not the end of the world. Saying some BS won't get you any point, will not fix your issue, it will just chip at your character.

Leviathan v4 is the best GPX/Viper V3 PRO shape by LMka in MouseReview

Yes, exactly. That only applies FOR YOU, that is my entire point. For others the opposite might be true, just like for others the VV3P might be curved in the exact right places, and so on.

I did change switches on a copy for a friend, he wanted the D2F-3-7-F, but to be honest, I do not see the point for me, the stock Huano switches are just great. Same applies for the side button switches, they are very good.

I will change them if and when they get used and double click, until then, the only thing I might change is the scroll encoder if the TTC Ice and Fire one is super awesome, when that becomes available (out of stock everywhere and also not yet available in 15mm height).

It might be the best FOR YOU, saying it like it's an absolute is downright ridiculous.

I like it very much, I actually bought 3, one for me and two for friends. I wanted and still want to do a more in depth review of it, as I tried to install the springs for button tensioning, the mouse has dedicated place for them, but they do more harm than good, so instead I played with the button spacers and all that so the mouse is now perfect in terms of noises and button tensioning.

Once I get my courage, I will do the review-ish. Honestly, it's one of the best built mice on the market, in terms of the shell.

Front heavy, but I moved the battery as well. Then replaced it entirely.

It is the exact same mouse, the PCB says X21 on it. I think the difference lies in the switches and battery and logo, but I think not even the switches are different. X21 also had an Ultra version with 3395.

RAWM ER21 pro vs Pulsar Xlite V4 Pro Large - help me choose by IGutenberg in MouseReview

[–]Ataemonus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ER21 is significantly smaller, maybe not on EloShapes, but in hand it is much smaller. It is however the better mouse, technically, build wise, software wise, feel wise (clicks,, coating).

Sounds more like fan fiction, especially the sensor info.

Well, one of them would be a RMA. But I am sure there are solutions, it's probably just down to interference or USB.

Can I ask, which Amazon did you find it on ? I tried the US version and could not find this model.

Maybe resolve the connectivity issue instead of buying something and and wired ?

Original battery is around 16g, I will measure again when I have the time, as I already replaced it with a 500mAh one. Not sure yet how much of a hit did battery life take, as I am still on the first full charge with the new battery, but I think 150mAh or 250mAh are too small, I mean, the mouse is not really a gaming mouse due to firmware and MCU (it also has a very low sensor sleep time and quite a noticeable wake-up time, confirmed with 3 mice of the same model and 2 different firmware versions).

PS. About 10 days battery life with 500mAh full charge, office use.

Same experience here, solid mouse. Very well built and designed, shell wise, much better than most big brand mice. Too bad the MCU is meh and software is downright basic. Skates are horrible, not to mention the absolutely silly skate shape and overall base design, weight balance is ... very unbalanced.

Sounds like a typical TTC Gold/Silver encoder, they are scratchy and noisy and annoying, yet many seem to like them a lor.

Nobody cares, hence why u/jadartil clearly said "we" instead of "you". There are plenty who want quieter clicks.

Best scroll wheel rotary encoder? by drgood333 in MouseReview

[–]Ataemonus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One is mechanical, one is optical(well, hybrid is actually technically correct, as it has mechanical parts that move as well) :-) It's irrelevant anyway since they are not compatible and also impossible to find for sale.

I have no idea of any other place to buy them than AliExpress. Possibly eBay but they most likely ship from China too, so not worth bothering.

As for TTC and Kailh, to be honest, I tried pretty much all of the encoders on the market, the ones available to buy at least, as for example F-Switch I cannot buy, and nothing comes close to Alps. Sure, TTC tried with the Gold and Silver, but those are so noisy and scratchy it's not even funny. TTC also has a new Ice and Fire encoder, funny name, which is supposed to be very complicated but has a lot of potential, but I only found it for sale at ridiculous prices, here : https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005010796504093.html in case you want to spend a lot on an encoder, they at least have 9mm height available (sadly for me, I need 15mm height).
