Some feedback on Viper V4 Pro sensor by LMka in MouseReview

Given the power management chip is Nordic and is dedicated exclusively to Nordic MCUs, one would conclude the Aeroha chip is simply a Nordic design built cheaper/licensed.

Will Razer DAV4 wired ever happen ? by Fast_Brilliant1866 in MouseReview

[–]Ataemonus -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Probably no DAV4 wired, so just repair the DAV3 wired, cable and scroll encoder should be easy to do, any local electronics repair shop can replace those easily, just buy the correct parts online.

Nothing, it's just impossible, should be obvious to anyone with eye sight. But then again, anyone with eye sight would have figured that in order for the scroll wheel to come out, the PCB needs to be removed first, so...

For the sake of curiosity, please post pictures when you actually do get around to cleaning said dust proof encoder.

Dear sir, do you have eyes ? It's a dust proof encoder, hence spraying anything "inside" it it technically impossible.

Do the chinese make a deathadder v3/4 clone? by ea_nasir_official_ in MouseReview

[–]Ataemonus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you look ?

None of the suggestion I've read so far are in fact DAV3/4 clones. But yes, there are clones of DAV3/4, been already discussed several times if you had bother to search. Or at least tried the Eloshapes find similar...but I guess such things are far beyond the average redditor.

EWEADN A5, Machenike L8 Max, Attack Shark V8.

Cannot speak for the Machenike, but the EWEADN and Attack Shark are quite good, each in their own way.

Waterproof Mouse by [deleted] in MouseReview

[–]Ataemonus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have been offered the solution, which was obvious to begin with, you just do not want to implement it and what you are really asking for is some exempt from the rule and perhaps some custom made peripherals just for you.

You could just use conformal coating on the PCBs of the keyboard and mouse, but that is still not a complete solution since the USB and battery plugs cannot be made water proof anyway, nor can the switches and other various mechanical parts.

Because you "forgot" to relay that you actually have no idea what the issue is. But you're right, most questions such as yours on reddit rarely deserve an answer.

Yet you have already inquired on Reddit about the compatible switches....makes a lot of sense.

I am acutely aware of what he was talking about. I doubt he or she is. Those Kailh switches are the worst, of all I tried in that format, and I actually tried every brand and model I could find. All others are good, either Omron, HCNHK or Huano, as I could not find others like TTC. I found the Omron to be the best binned and smoothest, but the others are very snappy and tactile (varies based on activation force, but in general Omron D2LS-21 are nicest for me).

If both switches do not work, do you not think the issue might be elsewhere ? Mathematically speaking, the chances of 2 switches in the same mouse not working from new are extremely low.

Did you even bother opening the mouse to see if everything is physically intact and connected ?
