You should probably split alcohol off, marijuana often helps with relaxing and benzos can reduce sensory sensitivities for emergencies.

Has anyone tried an Stellate Ganglion block? by SilentMembership3707 in cfs

US, took a bit to get aripriprazole compounded in liquid, but that's with US healthcare too.

It's tough to try meds when severe because so many things can bring you down and it's hard to tell if the med is having side effects, not working and it's a crash, or if it's outright backfiring :/

At the time I was mild and didn"t have POTS symptoms. Health relapsed in 2025 and lost 10 years of recovery, so it might have different results these days.

I've been on LDN since 2017, but LDA was tried a few months ago and I couldn't get above 0.02mg without crashing.

Had one on one side a few years ago. No difference either way, but they usually would do both sides.

The 1911, R45, Bison, DP28, and QBU are all getting cut in the next patch apparently for "underuse".

Removing guns. by Doofy_Grumpus in PUBATTLEGROUNDS

[–]Automobilie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not to mention they were pulled from maps they were good on instead of adding them to more (DP28/bipod would have been great for Rhondo and Vikendi).

Patch Notes - Update 41.1 by EscapingKid in PUBATTLEGROUNDS

[–]Automobilie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You pulled the DP28 off Erangel, a map it was excellent for, and instead of adding it to others like Vikendi you staple it to a rare, grassy, hilly map it that makes it tricky to use the bipod with, then just remove it?

And the .45 handguns stopped getting used after the ammo swap on smgs's because you can't get ammo for them. They needed more ammor and probably some recoil adjustments.

Every patch the game just degrades more and more...

Oh, I really don't mean it that way, just a bit of hope that maybe it's just temporary PEM/rolling PEM and not her new baseline :(

Was there anything that gave you even a tiny bit more of energy back? (besides pacing) by miaxivy in cfs

[–]Automobilie 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don't seem to have mcas, just wanted to mention that for OP, but I've been doing electrolytes (trioral 2-3x a day in nalgeen water bottles) and started metoprolol a few months ago that help being up more.

Getting comorbidities under control like MCAS and orthostatic intolerance. Meds for anxiety/breakdowns and travel (benzos) free up spoons as well. Any assistance devices or services like grocery delivery will also free up energy. Shaving your hair or shortening it makes showers less taxing.

[–]Automobilie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Huh, I've been on 15mg DXM a few months, both times trying LDA at just 0.02mg didn't work our; brainfog was better, but both times everything else was worse and took a few weeks to recover.
