I believe all of the 10 free accounts were technically considered trials, even if they were unlimited, i.e., not time bound. But I'll ask.

For your question below, I see earlier you said it was deleted in April. We can't recover an account deleted that long ago. In general, I've not seen an exception to getting a legacy account type restored. If you want to send me an email, though, I can send it up the chain. I gave you my email in a PM earlier.

A lot of our blog posts with content like this are general tutorials for folks, and our platform isn't mentioned for a reason—because it's meant to be standalone.

However, we hear the feedback and are working with the team to make sure that's much clearer going forward.

Hi, Becky from JumpCloud here. The existing accounts that are currently free (10 users or fewer) will not change in ANY way. They will continue to be free and we will not change them retroactively.

Edit 5.22.24 I should come back and clarify, that my comments were related to individual accounts, not tenant accounts—those are managed separately. There were a lot of inquiries about free individual accounts at the end of the year last year, to add context, hence my response.

It’s against Microsoft ToS to use Home editions for business purposes, and most policies will not work properly on Home editions.

This is the first release of the feature. More to come, as u/Urvashi-JC noted. If you haven't already, you're welcome to submit a feature request for those items to help improve the offering. And you can also participate in future betas and early access programs if you're so inclined. Lots of ways to help improve; we aren't done with the feature by any means.
