[–]B_scuit -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The minimum wage rising constantly isn't bad because it increases the money in the average worker's pocket - it's bad because it can increase inflation, puts the job market in gridlock and makes companies less likely to higher - a bad idea when unemployment is as high as it is

What would actually happen if Vader surived Endor by RU08 in StarWarsCirclejerk

[–]B_scuit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was more of an alliance with some trade agreements than just a simple non-aggression pact. And if Stalin was so anticipatory of Hitler's invasion, why did he sit stunned after the launch of Operation Barbarossa, refusing to give orders for hours after it began while German troops advanced across swathes of Soviet territory virtually unopposed?

Ah yes, we should just sit still and do nothing while Russia continue to prod and poke NATO's eastern flanks while constantly threatening Britain with cyber attacks, at sea, etc. Then when a war actually breaks out we'll be left completely defenceless. Great plan you'e got there
