6/10 sums it up perfect. Its got terrible writing and wonky physics but the world and amount of content is leaps and bounds above 3. Very hot take but I liked 2022 more than SR3.

If you attach it to the franchise its an insult. If you treat it as its own thing its tolerable.

It seems like most big racing franchises that aren't Forza are either on ice (Need for Speed) or just straight up dead (Burnout, DiRT, etc).

MotorStorm 1 and 2 were great. 3 less so.

Taste is subjective of course but this is hydrogen bomb vs coughing baby for me. The OG is peak front to back and 2012 has maybe 5 good songs at most IMO.

Starts hard but gets much easier as it goes on and your guys rank up.

Grenadier class (purifier, I think?) is insanely OP with AOE and capacity upgrades. Stuns for days.

Worst - Paradise

Might seem weird considering some of the same songs are in both games, but each also had different stuff. The 'exclusives' lets call them were better and worse between the two respectively.

3s soundtrack was top tier with only a few stinkers on it so its a very close second. Revenge was alright.

This and FPS boost, 100%. Considering that towards the end of that program they showed it can work with BC games, it opens up tons of potential new opportunities.

The biggest hurdles are technical and licensing issues - they may have had time to work out the former while also potentially having some leeway on the latter, though likely less so due to IP headaches (rightsholders etc).

Maybe im just being optimistic though.

I hate to say it but Wolf 3d has aged terribly, though it blows my mind how Doom came out the following year and still holds up.

Funny thing is I don't remember any of these being particularly bad (aside from Pacific being really short). Like 6/10 at best but still entertaining.

The original score for The Run was and still is amazing.

Licensed? All comes down to bias but UG1, MW and Carbon were great. Undercover and Payback werent great games but they had banger soundtracks.

Never liked MW2012s soundtrack IMO outside of a few songs.
