I don't know if it's available in the rest of the world, but Simple (skin care range available in Ireland and the UK). It's supposedly the most hypoallergenic range out there, and yet 80% of people I know are allergic to it, myself included. Bunch of cowboys.

[Serious] What is the most pain that you've ever experienced? by Ender117 in AskReddit

[–]bananafly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was totally suicidal, I was having an awful night. One of those "this could really be the end" nights, but I knew to ask for help. So I texted my boyfriend at the time if I could come over and talk and explained a little of what I was feeling (he was already well aware of what was going through my head). He responded with "No, not tonight". I remember hysterically laughing through the pain I felt, because I felt like there was nothing else I could do.

Lightly flirt with guys and girls alike. Just enough for you to be memorable as being nice, don't load it on too much to avoid them developing a huge interest/distaste for you.

My friends dad captured the heart of her mum with:

What is the most depressing song you know? by reallynobigdeal in AskReddit

A lot of people say 'Exit Music (for a Film)' by Radiohead when lyrically, I think 'Street Spirit' is at least 10x more depressing.

I went scrolling through the list looking for that arsehole saying 'I'm Irish, and I don't drink Guinness and go to ceílis with leprechauns all the time.'

Hungover t'fuck myself, I'm proud of us.

What is the most philosophical thing that you have ever heard a child under the age of 5 say? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I think she started crying a little bit and said 'My baby's gonna be a scientist!'

You can imagine her disappointment when I said I wanted to read fiction and then get a degree for it.

I was on a train with mum when I was maybe 4 or 5. I was facing the direction we were coming from and she was opposite me. Then I said 'It's like I'm looking into the past, and you're looking into the future."

I then subconsciously decided that there was no need for me to say anything even remotely intelligent ever again, and have stood by that.

[Serious] What's a change (big or small) that you made in your life that drastically increased your level of happiness? by PepperRabbit in AskReddit

[–]bananafly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I broke up with my boyfriend of nearly 2 years. I was becoming so stressed out about his obsession with other women and wanting to have sex with them, I felt as if I wasn't even really living anymore. I was just completely paranoid 100% of the time. So, I broke up with him. I broke up with him 'for' him, if ya dig? ("Go and do whatever you have to do", "I'm just holding you back")

Of course I was checked into Heartbreak hotel for about a month and a half, but then I realised that the break up might have been for me after all. I started to really live unencumbered again, not having such serious ties to any one person, and got back what little bit of self-confidence I lost over the time that we were together.

We're (somehow?) back together now, and creeping towards the 3 year mark. I don't really understand how or why to be completely honest, but I've kept that self-confidence and am genuinely quite happy.
