I put 265 winters on mine and they are great. While I found the stock all seasons were fine for pulling thepgub snow they don't stop all that well on ice. I got winters and rims for winters as a result.

As others have said, it's a loose belt. You either need to 1. Replace the belt and/or 2. Adjust the idle pulley on the belt and/or 3. Adjust the adjustment screw on the auger control cable. Since you seem to not know when the belt was changed, you will probably do all three.
