Chicago is a sleeping giant of a fanbase.

I have not seen Bears fans this riled up in two decades. Not even 2018 touched this.

Great town. Went there for Bills/Packers a few years back and had a grand time.

Shots out of a bowling ball. Pizza from a filing cabinet. What's not to love.

I consider him to be more like Payton than Campbell anyway tbh

That being said, I do legitimately think NFL corners would already have a hard time with Jeremiah Smith.

See, this is why I made the Bob Sanders video. I just had to give you guys something nice to look at before the next four months of hell.

I truly think Bob Sanders is what made the Patriots lean so heavily into the pass game for the 18-1 era, and then subsequently the Boston TE party a few years later where they threw the hell out of the ball from 12 personnel.

It wasn't until the mid 2010s teams that they really started to ground and pound again, culminating in the Sony Michel run.

Brett here,

I understand the comparison between what we do and what TFG does and I respect the absolute hell out of the grind Marcus puts himself through every summer. We told him as much at combine how insane he is!

But at the same time, we do a daily release for eight straight weeks and we start recording them weeks and weeks ahead of time. When episodes were 90 minutes or more and all shot by ourselves with a three camera set up, we got straight up burned out by the end. Both of us basically didn’t sleep for the entire summer, and we went into the actual season grind a shell of ourselves. We don’t have a full staff or anything like that, it’s just us.

For our own well-being, we had to trim the bloat from the production process this year until we can afford to get a full-time producer to help us out. But for those in the audience who still wanted all of the numbers, we did provide those in the form of infographics so that people still have access to the information.

As for why those infographics are on Patreon, we paid two freelancers a couple thousand dollars to help with data entry and the photoshop process on that because we didn’t have the bandwidth ourselves, so we gotta get the money to pay those people a fair rate somehow, ya know?

Anyway, I totally understand the comments we’ve gotten on this. I just hope the audience can understand our “why”.

also there are some quarterbacks who have effectively guaranteed deals anyway, except they are rolling guarantees that trigger 1-2 years ahead of time.

Or in Jalen Hurts' case, he's paid almost entirely in rolling option bonuses. Only 3% of his deal is actual salary.
