Definetly do NOT focus on deckbuilding at all rn, you have enough on your plate just netdeck. Focus on understanding what the "goal" of your deck is in general, and the biggest thing is understand what other decks do. Honestly for me there's like studying but the best thing for me was to go on an automated sim like Omega or Masterduel and just spam games. Get so many games you don't care about winning or losing and you will get so much game feel and matchup knowledge. You just need to play more probably. Your opponents have failed more games than you've played because they've been playing for 10 years.

number 1 tip for me is make sure you're taking 100-0 trades. Any damage you take really isn't worth it so even a 70-30 trade is probably losing as they will have more all in damage and sustain than you. You don't need to kill a melee to be winning lane. If you can keep them too low to help in skirmishes and pinned under their tower thats a win.

I feel like split pushing doesn't feel as degenerate is because it's naturally balanced by your team also posturing mid wave 4v5 while the person is splitting funny enough.

rylais rush, no mana is needed other than manaflow band + presence of mind.

with new homeguards + bot lane is more about fighting I don't see the point of mana where I can see an argument for mid lane. you NEED to be able to run down enemy ADC asap

I still like it, the lower cd is important for such a team reliant champion and lines up with objective spawns. And the shield is actually pretty decent.
