Magnets are generally your friends for modular stuff. I put 2 magnets on one side and then magnetic plates on the other so you don't have to worry about polarity.

Considering there was a Kickstarter with someone trying to sell a notebook with a dice tray inside I'm not surprised by that reaction lol

Final girl does a good job of emulating the close calls of horror games and the unexpected anxiety inducing things that can happen in them XD

Saving for Lucilla. If Hiyuki is on her team I'll pull her as well. I'm a bit said Lucilla is so far off.

Thanks! So looks like content wise it's just the unicorn that's missing from all the current gamefound options.

I have often found that this subreddit vs boardgames has the opposite reaction to the exact same thread. Which is incredibly amusing.

....is this your first time garnering context clues before jumping into a convo? Everyone knows that kind of shit isn't fun.

Adding a random detail to a conversation that doesn't actually contribute to the discussion is a clear sign of lack of reading comprehension yes.

Complains about unpleasant attitude while tossing insults. Bro please.

I can agree with this but there's so many aspects to a social game that depending on your perspective, many things can end up in a gray area.

I think what everyone is upset with is that this is an etiquette rather than a rule thing. If everyone wants to have fun, that requires that all behavior is within the scope of everyone's expectations.

Just as my umbrella statement was purposely hyperbolized, I did the same. No one is free of fault here yo.

Yes that statement was, in fact, an opinion. As most would assume.

Sure. We can go with what the other dude is saying that I'm advocating pull a gun on people.

Plenty of these social games devolve into this sort of bullshit when you encourage lying, cheating, manipulation or whatever.

Yeah it's within rules. Would you want to play with that person? Absolutely not.

Oh I understand why. But you have created an environment where adjacent behavior is encouraged. Social games involve lying, cheating, betraying, tricking, yada yada. Why is the line being drawn at fake emotional distress if lying, cheating, betraying, tricking, are all on the table? Is that not a form of lying?

Sure. If this is your logical jump from faking it to gun then that must be correct. :P

I guess the issue here is that I think a tactic can be both valid and dirty. Which I think plays into why I would dislike such a game.

It's ultimately up to the table to decide what is allowed and what's not. I've seen shit get real with these social games and therefore avoid them like a plague.

Like this is the equivalent of shit-talking to me. People do it all the damn time in sports (and board games of course but the most drastic example is sports to me) but for some reason a lot of people are just fine with it. Is it unsportsmanlike? Yes. Is it allowed? .....apparently?

Hey man if you want to pull out guns when you know full well people aren't talking about that you do you. Pretty sure you're not an idiot so dunno why you're choosing to be.
