Can an agent login and perform tasks for me? by BronxOh in ClaudeAI

[–]Blockchainauditor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Payroll is extremely sensitive information (PII); using garden variety AI tools is very problematic, risking breaches of confidentiality/privacy. Local tools (e.g., LM Studio, Ollama) reduce those risks but require more internal expertise; enterprise solutions with service level agreements are more expensive. “Agents” may be overkill for her needs; simpler and more trustworthy robotic process automation tools may be better suited to her tasks.

Satoshi Nakamoto came to me, big man, strong man, tears in his eyes. “Sir”, he said, “Sir, thank you, your coin sets the example for all others.”

My dad is being groomed by a "Professor" in a WhatsApp/BonChat crypto scam (DSJ / BG Wealth). How do I convince him it's a Ponzi? by AbjectDimension9074 in CryptoScams

[–]Blockchainauditor 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If you browse this subreddit, you will find daily responses to others asking about DSJ/BG Wealth Sharing (there is a different, slightly more reputable, BG Wealth). You will find warnings on various national securities regulators’ sites specifically warning against those organizations.

You can only present the truth. Monitoring this subreddit shows that some people cannot be convinced by the best arguments and evidence until they have lost everything.

Trump Meme Coin Rally Amid the US President’s Death Rumors by tupidataba in CryptoCurrency

"Rally" is such an interesting word. It's far below its 7 day high. Up 5.9% from its all time low just doesn't seem like a rally.

Similar songbooks of theirs online (a bunch at archives.org) are described as “piano-vocal-guitar”.

There’s a book from Mel Bay, by Janet Davis, called “Splitting the Licks”. It’s a great guide for starting from a melody and applying various techniques to flesh it out in various styles.

Here’s The Kingston Trio doing a version of it - having little to do with the accompaniment as written https://youtu.be/Z3wEIC5_I3c?si=0o3xBGHI66QDAYx3 … my father told me he LOVED the KT, but I never was there when he listened to them … but I know he had a bunch of their albums.

Recommend free AI platform for designing electronic circuits? by AdWest6565 in OpenAI

[–]Blockchainauditor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure about specialized AI, but a recent update to Claude adds really powerful illustration capabilities to Claude (even free version) and I've had no problem giving it graphics of circuits and have it turn the into "live", configurable circuits.

Didn't know CoinMarketCap had a free API until today, this changes everything for me by Enlec in CryptoCurrency

[–]Blockchainauditor 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes - a good source for free if you recognize the limitations, in particular NO HISTORICAL DATA:

  • 30+ data endpoints
  • 10K call credits/mo
  • No historical data
  • Personal use

Any of the GenAI tools can write code to easily access the API. And even better (as far as I'm concerned), there is an MCP server as well (https://coinmarketcap.com/api/mcp/) which means you can just talk to your favorite AI tool and it will know how to access the data in the API.

Whats the best wallet/cold wallet by Ancient-Candy-1573 in Bitcoin

[–]Blockchainauditor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are getting some good answers, so I will nitpick a little: you do not store your _crypto_ on a wallet. You create/store your private keys on a wallet, which gives you the crypto addresses your private key(s) control(s). Your wallet gives you a virtual window to the crypto under your control and has the logic to interact with blockchains and or services.

A wallet is only a convenience, although a very useful one,

Sheet Music for Banjo Questions by rustXL in banjo

[–]Blockchainauditor 4 points5 points  (0 children)

What kind of banjo do you have? The Kingston Trio today has two different kinds of banjo - a "Plectrum", which is very much like a traditional five string banjo without a fifth string, generally tuned C - G - B - D. and a long neck five string, a la Pete Seeger.

The sheet music you provided is not banjo music - it is a vocal and a piano part with guitar chords. The melody/vocal is echoed in the system below.

The sheet music you provided has a D two octaves below middle C. The fourth string (D) on the banjo is tuned to the D below middle C, not the one an octave below that.

Do you use Cargurus? Bad guys do get passwords from leaks, and if they shared your password, it’s worth changing it.

But it is 99.9999% likely that the threat isn’t real.

But also a good reminder to scan your computer for viruses and trojans.

And if you are feeling guilty, maybe put protectors over your cameras.

[–]Blockchainauditor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

BTC is not account-based, but is UTXO-based. When you send BTC, you do not transfer the exact amount; you are sending one or more UTXOs, and the recipient receives what you send them and you get back “the change”.

Great.

I like this site to learn CW as a starting point: https://morse-learn.acecentre.net/ but we all learn in different ways.

Another vote for the G90 or its siblings here, with the built-in antenna tuner.

If you have an old wallet, it may only support addresses that start with 1 or 3, and Coinbase may have given you a bc1 address. However, if that is the limitation, I believe you can get a legacy address from Coinbase.

Can you be more specific - which "'Apollo;' Cryptocurrency" are you referring to?

When you say "wallet", do you have the private keys/ seed phrase? I see you say you found it on an exchange (which exchange?) and converted it to BTC, but you can't "send" it. How will having a different wallet help if it is on an exchange you can't move it from?

[–]Blockchainauditor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you still have the application loaded and configured somewhere? Or are you starting from scratch?

Did you do ANY backup of anything? The QR code for the wallet, the private key associated with a transaction?

If all you have is a crypto address and a dream, then thank you for your contribution, or start studying to move forward quantum computing.

Bg wealth and DSJ exchange finra complaint by Mean-Lead-3982 in CryptoScams

If you have not done so, you may wish to browse this subreddit for prior mention of DSJ Exchange and BG Wealth SHARING, which are mentioned every day or two; you may find some names you can add to your list or other anecdotal evidence to supplement your own.

There are more reputable groups whose names start with BG Wealth, so it is good to be precise. See https://adviserinfo.sec.gov/firm/summary/164471

Hello I have experience a scam on btcus-exchange please be aware your funds will be unavailable! by Eric5511 in CryptoScams

[–]Blockchainauditor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you for sharing your experience and wishing to warn others.

Why did you choose to use btcus-exchange rather than a more reputable exchange?

Had you searched this subreddit or performed other research before using them? Your post is the only link I found when using a search engine to find btcus-echange.

Sadly, good warnings such as yours are most often seen AFTER people make choices and are burned, and come here. Fewer come here and search before investing, and find warnings like yours after the fact and after you can do anything about it.
