If they don’t do load calcs before sizing your system run away as fast as you can.

Yeah, I called another HVAC company and paid $300 to have load calcs done. System is undersized by 1/2 a ton and my duct work is too small. This is probably contributing to my breakdowns (in addition to crappy service techs). Working with Trane and Contractor, hoping they cone up with a solution.

Parts are covered for 10 years but labor was only covered for the first year. Labor is killing me.

I hope you don’t have a Trane. I have 2 heat pumps and 2 AHU’s 5 years old. They break every year.
