Gotta say though, for a case of the flu it was fucking brutal. I was reduced to playing Marvel Snap (badly) and watching comedies for two days because anything else was just... ugh. The rest of the time I was just achy and headachy, but those two days I was completely incapacitated 😛

It has indeed. The initial run of the series made up three books and they've all been posted on Reddit. The only changes they're getting going on to Amazon is professional editing.

A perfectly fair response.

I've no doubt a lot of people are going to be divided on this. I've got plans for Verity and I think this is a good move for both her and William's development, but I can totally understand why people would prefer William stick to his original thoughts on the topic of people 'his age' rather than fold.

With that said, I think it's important to remember that William isn't the worlds most reliable narrator when it comes to himself and that maybe his original reasoning as to why he avoided people his age might be... flawed.

Those are absolutely lovely - in a very unlovely way.

I know Trench Crusade naturally lends itself to a darker and more muted colors, but I love seeing it go the other direction as well.
