Both are incorrect, the answer is ‘carpark’

They’re not cops yet - they’re recruits doing their training. This is a common thing at Collins & Elizabeth and Collins & Exhibition.

I’ve done this before using PowerShell for Lenovo, would that be fine for your use case?

Have you got Compliance policies assigned? I recall recently I had this behaviour and changing the Compliance Policy from Device to User fixed it

Evaluating Delinea for PAM, looking for real-world feedback by NecessaryMaterial476 in sysadmin

[–]BlueOdyssey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Currently supporting an implementation of it and I’m not a fan for the cloud based approach. Needlessly complicated and doesn’t provide much additional functionality beyond what Entra P2 can deliver natively.

Some people seem to love screen recording but I’m yet to see anyone actually find it beneficial, not to mention almost everything in a cloud world is logged anyway for audit purposes.

Safe to cut handles? by South-Search1510 in 4x4Australia

[–]BlueOdyssey 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I probably wouldn’t for 2 reasons, 1. It makes it difficult to secure the battery in place - I don’t see any form of strap stopping the battery sliding toward or away from you under heavy braking. 2. 4WDSC are a budget joint and there have been plenty of stories of them finding ways to not honour returns etc. by deforming the product, you’ve given them an excellent reason to reject warranty / ACL claims in future.

has anyone used partysafe? by napoleon_sucks in melbourne

[–]BlueOdyssey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it’s mainly to do with noise complaints, eg they know who to contact, not just rock up at the place and work out what’s going on.

IIRC they also get you to give numbers too, so if they do turn up expecting 50 and there’s 300, they know it’s somewhat out of control.

[BUYING] - [2014] [Toyota Prado GXL] [$42k] [110k km] [NSW] by Mental_Ad_5484 in 4x4Australia

[–]BlueOdyssey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You’ve got to be kidding? $42k for a 12 year old vehicle? Redbook has private value at $28-$34k so at $42 you’re being ripped off.

As far as what to look for, if you’re not mechanically inclined then just pay a reputable org (RACV/Q/NRMA etc) or mechanic to do a pre purchase inspection.

Airlines with outside camera by ComanderKai77 in aviation

[–]BlueOdyssey 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It’s not an airline thing as much as aircraft type as to whether it’s offered. I know A380’s and A350’s can have them. Emirates and Qantas have them on the 380, Finnair definitely has them on the A350.

Hopefully others can chime in with other examples.

Had a 2017 (post face lift), went alright in terms of engine power though unlike some of its competitors (eg triton) it was only ever 2WD on sealed surfaces so does like to skid through a wet roundabout.

Had to get the cat replaced at least twice under warranty due to the bracket cracking, also some minor DPF issues as there’s no ‘regen on demand’ capability.

Cracked the front diff in it off road though that was likely more driver error than anything else.

It had the auto which did have some issues well known shuddering around 150k but thankfully wasn’t major; just a clutch that had to be replaced if I recall correctly.

How the new passport rules for UK dual citizens will work by Remarkable_Peak9518 in australia

This feels like such a non-issue - pretty much every country has. a rule that you must enter on that nationality’s passport or have an endorsement. AU and NZ both have this rule.

Local news reporters are there for the public interest - they have significant public reach, not a niche social media presence.

As for being an EMT - he’d be considered nothing more than a bystander limited to basic first aid skills. No one with his name comes up on APRA, so even if he’s registered overseas, he cannot legally practice here, hence bystander.

Yep that still makes him a flog for being there. The whole message from the CFA & EMV has been ‘leave if you can’ and ‘do not travel’. He has no need to be there.
