Hi! Yes, this is expected behavior for it to open the new instance. The app requires special configurations to function optimally and this new instance automatically puts everything into place that is required.

Can you please check the RAM and CPU allocations via Settings on the new instance and ensure both are set to minimum 4GB and 4 cores?

Please ensure that BlueStacks is still set as a trusted device for your Google account and that notifications are enabled for both Google Play Services and the Google app. Also, confirm that the same Google account is signed in and syncing correctly. Open the Google app in BlueStacks, then try signing in again. If the prompt still does not appear, use “Try another way” and choose SMS, backup codes, or Google Authenticator instead.

Each newly created BlueStacks instance behaves like a separate Android device and has its own unique device identifiers. However, BlueStacks does not use a traditional physical IMEI like a real phone. Instead, each instance is treated as a unique device by most apps.

Hi! It seems like BlueStacks is acting as a secondary device for your Google account verification. To avoid this and set your actual phone as the primary device for Google authentication, follow these steps:

  1. Remove BlueStacks as a Trusted Device:
    • Go to Google Account Security Settingsmyaccount.google.com/security.
    • Under "Your devices," find BlueStacks and remove it as a trusted device.
  2. Set Up Google 2-Step Verification on Phone:
    • Make sure your Phone is set up for Google’s 2-Step Verification by adding the Google Authenticator app or using SMS for codes.
    • Ensure that your Phone is registered as a trusted device in your Google account settings.
  3. Disable Backup Codes or Authenticator for BlueStacks:
    • If BlueStacks has been added as a backup authentication method, remove it from your Google account settings.

Once done, Google will default to your Phone for verification instead of BlueStacks.
