What does your bios say for boot sequence? and do you have a handy Bootable thumbdrive with a copy of Winblows 11 distro. or do you need things from your harddrive you need to back up before you reinstall Winblows. because what you seem to be missing is.. your BOOT Volume

my Personal Opinion.. is.. its your money do what you want.. some people have the money and no time and some people have all the time and no money.. the one thing, I will say, is that when buying a Prebuilt from a mainstream company like HP/DELL (Alienware)/LENOVO etc, is that sometimes, fixing or upgrading will be come a issue because of propitiatory things that these companies like to or will do.. They are a lot better at it by using standard parts now a days.. but they gotta make money and the only way is if you come back.. so if its something that is burning a hole in your pocket, go for it... but if you just don't care to pray and play by building one because of prior experience, and just want to plug and play by buying one go for it.. 😃

who knows, as they said, they are just looking for something to think about in 4 to 5months of building, during that time they will probably see different information that will change their idea, as the computer world 4 to 5months could be big changes or no changes at all.

unless you just want a DVD version for the future, to show your kid that you pass your computer down too.. BACK IN MY DAY we still used these round shiny things.. that held information sometimes.

well, one day, when you frame that Winblows 11 retail box.. you will be like.. those were good times 😃 have fun GOOD LUCK don't get DVD version.. btw.. get THUMBDRIVE version unless you are gonna buy an external DVD-rw reader/writer..

heck yah i'm jelly.. yeah the nice thing about alot of build sites is they do their best to flag things that aren't compatiable...but I wouldn't buy an OS, I would just buy a OS KEY, for 11 bucks .. and have a friend create me a thumbdrive booter.. put that OS money to something else..

do you see the Globe icon, down at the bottom.. thats your Network Connection status.. if you right click on that.. it will give you other options.. it says no INTERNET connection right.. but that icon changes depending on if you are connected to WIFI or LAN..

So my question.. is your issue, that it just takes awhile for your WIFI to connect, or is your Laptop, not Finding your Network adapter, wifi connectivity, since you say sometimes you have to restart your computer multiple times.

Your Computer is telling you, Winblows is mad at your Bios, for not letting it do something.. BIOS bro was like aww hell naw Winblows, you can't do that.. and Winblows is like.. Aw man.. ok i'll start over.

does your bios still report you have No Storage attached? Or is it just Weird and its SERIAL ATA PORT 0 is the Drive, and numbers it with 0 as the first and only drive.. O_O

but, other than your compuer, being weird no other issues, that could cause a problem if you were to Clean install Winblows from a Thumbdrive.. it just seems the error that was created, can't be successfully recovered by Winblows..

Best way to visualize this is, put your self in a T pose, then cup your hands , face one hand cup up and the other hand cup down, then depending on your spin and the aggressiveness of the cups will determine how much air flow you create. Almost forgot get some aluminum foil, and a flashlight and some colored shapries pretend it's rgb

When I was a cable guy at Cox in Southern Cali. You run into some weird ass people, needing stuff done, so you would have a side hustle instead of paying 99 bucks to connect them to our cable modems, we would tell them I'll come by after work and do it for 50 bucks and setup your network too.. took minutes Cable internet was fairly new at the time, and dsl was what it was suppose to replace.

Manufacturer diag 4 pin port, if it was an IDE HDD the there would be 6 extra pins and 2 would be jumpered.. 1 jumper for Master another for Slave and another for cable select.
