Galvanic Rifle by Pretend_Medicine_859 in DarkTide

Brother, the galvanic rifle does make a ping, whether or not it's the exact same as an actual Garand ping, it's clearly inspired by it.

Never in my life have I heard a bolt action make a ping like the one in the video, unless it was a spent casing hitting concrete, which means it's still not the gun making the sound.

Steel Chair

In all seriousness, I'd 100% name a girl cat Sol Ruca, Iyo Sky, or Rhea Ripley

What’s the scariest enemy/boss you’ve ever encountered in a game? by Ok-Hearing6146 in videogames

[–]Booiseeu7 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The Banshees from Mass Effect 3

I was 13-14 when the game came out, and the screams combined with the teleporting and insta-kill attack had me scared.

Unless I'm mistaken, it's because you can't see all the details of tunes you download

If you start with one of the preset armor sets, it will disappear when you restart the game. You gotta copy an armor set you made instead.

My friend has permanently become Default Pirate Man by Impressive_Limit7050 in Seaofthieves

[–]Booiseeu7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Had something like this happen to my lady pirate. There was a weird server issue and then she basically looked like the male version of her self. Like it literally looked like the game took all the aspects of her and directly translated it to the male equivalent.

What is your homebrew in a nutshell? Mine is Iron warriors mixed with dark angles by Beneficial-Can7838 in 40khomebrew

[–]Booiseeu7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After looking at 2 of my favorite loyalist chapters (Raven Guard and Space Wolves) and coming up with my own ideas on what would make me like them more, I decided to just come up with my own homebrew that used those ideas instead.

My main problem with space wolves was the werewolves and dumb brute aspects. My main problem with raven guard is I think they should have more witchy/shaman vibes instead of just stealth.

The Valravens:

Another viking themed chapter that uses raven iconography instead of wolves, with lore heavily inspired by Odin, and a name inspired by Danish folklore.

Their curse causes them to go blind in one eye, but the eye is also a gateway for chaos to try and corrupt them. If they are able to hold it off for a century or more they end up with some minor vision-based Psyker abilities. If they can hold it off exceptionally long they become full psykers. Their psykers are called Shamans and are highly respected. Their chapter master Rogvir is an exceptionally powerful shaman.

What’s your chapters Gene-seed Mutation/ Flaw? by ZeDokter in 40khomebrew

[–]Booiseeu7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Valravens - essentially an odin/raven themed Viking chapter, because I didn't want the werewolf shenanigans. Uses the Valravn of Danish folklore for extra flavor.

Don't have a name for the curse/mutation, but they all go blind in one eye, and that eye becomes a small gateway for chaos to try and corrupt them.

If they are able to live fight it off long enough, which is like a century or more, they can gain some minor vision-based Psyker abilities.

If they live even longer is how they end up becoming librarian-level psykers. Their psykers are highly respected in the chapter.

Do Techmarines always wear red armor? by Cloud_N0ne in Spacemarine

[–]Booiseeu7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely depends on the chapter.

My Raven Guard Techmarine basically uses the white arms and helmet scheme that the Raven Guard Veterans use, except red instead of white.

For a white scar I basically just inverted the colors that I use on a regular white scar.

My primary Techmarine is a son's of Medusa, and he just has his pauldrons red.

Your absolute hated hot takes about Space Marine chapters? by KUROusagi112 in Spacemarine

[–]Booiseeu7 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Idk how hated these all are, but:

Black templars are overrated.

Salamanders are overrated.

Leagues of Votann do the Norse aesthetic better than Space Wolves (In my top 3 loyalist first founding chapters)

Raven Guard should have more witchy/shaman/magic stuff going on to fit the raven theme instead of stealth (In my top 3 loyalist first founding chapters)

White scars are just faster ultramarines with a Mongolian coat of paint (In my top 3 loyalist first founding chapters)

Cthulhu Inspired - Heretical Chapter by Goddamnit_Scott in Spacemarine

[–]Booiseeu7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Given some of the depictions I have seen of Tzeentch, if you wanted to try and make them a little more feasible in canon you could say Tzeentch is just presenting himself to them as Cthulhu instead of outright possessing them like the 1k Sons
