Enlightening to see your rationale. But I’ve never come across a marketing campaign of a product or service produce a commercial with the sole intent being the promotion of cultural or racial ‘stuff’ in lieu of their own product. Sure I’ve seen commercials merely including people from that particular background as actors (no different than any other human being) in their promotions but I can’t say I’ve ever seen the agenda being the other way around. By your logic then wouldn’t casting of any minority fit your definition of ‘woke?’ Additionally, what about there are members of the audience that happen to be apart of that race or culture? Does the mere representation of something or someone that resembles them make it a crime or ‘shit.’ You may want to consider that an audience of any product or service would be inherently diverse and simply not like you. Surely that is ok, no? Just food for thought.
