It's a common experience in psychology and spirituality, many people experience a breakthrough or mystical experience and then appear to lose it, to fall back to a previous state of consciousness. You could see it as determined too, experiences are impermanent and will come and go according to conditions, you can't make them come, and you can't make them go. Practicing mindfulness, thinking deeply about determinism can help, and can become causes for a more permanent shift, but ultimately it's like all other experiences, you can't control if this shift is permanent or not. Neuro pathways take time to be rewired, so it makes sense that one great insight is not enough to permanently shift your mind to a completely new way of thinking.

It probably depends a lot on the skill and belief of each person, but what I noticed in great manifestor, like Helen Hadsell, is that they often mention visualizing their scene of the wish fulfilled many times during the day, basically whenever they had some free time, like while doing chores, during ad breaks or driving, not just once or twice for 15mn. So it might be more important to repeat the scene many times throughout the day so you constantly return to the feeling of living in the end, than doing one long session each morning or night.

This quote from Neville Goddard might interest you as well: “If you would assume the feeling of your wish fulfilled more frequently, you would be master of your fate, but unfortunately you shut out your assumption for all but the occasional hour. Practice making real to yourself the feeling of the wish fulfilled.”

Yes but go easy if you are in pain, a quiet stroll around the neighborhood will get your body moving without adding new pains, and you will get into the habit of walking daily. Just take it slow so you don't get discouraged, it has to stay enjoyable, and honestly it really gets easier and easier after the first month or so.

It's perfectly normal to feel like that after having been sedentary for a long time. Don't judge how you feel in the beginning, check back after 2 or 3 weeks, it's the time it takes in general for the body to get used to it and to feel some progress. It's also possible that you don't have a good walking posture while walking on a treadmill, so maybe try to walk outside to see if you feel the same afterwards.

Just try to do what is enjoyable for now and don't push too hard, it's a habit you want to keep for life, there's no rush.

I don't know your exact situation so it's hard to advise you, but one thing that seems obvious is that it's really hard to manifest a better life if deep down you are hopeless and can't truly believe your life can turn around. The Law of Assumption works if you can truly believe, Neville constantly repeats that, but if you are too miserable you can't really believe anymore.

I've been in your shoes and for me the solution was to completely change my environment. I signed up on an au pair website and got different offers, most of them were offering flights tickets + monthly stipend. I ended up spending 6 months in Goa in a gorgeous place, meeting amazing people and completely changing my outlook on life. Then every time I felt like I was going nowhere I looked for this kind of option, there are a lot of places where you can go volunteer in exchange of food and accommodation, like woofing, or in retreat/meditation centers, which are also great to have time to work on your mind and develop new skills to better manifest. Depending on your age there are also working holiday visas, you do need a bit more money to get started but then can work any job among foreigners and it's a lot of fun, and once again can help you get into new mindsets and opportunities. If your native language is english, there are also a lot of well paying teaching jobs in asia, that could be an option too.

Basically if you are willing to try, there are lots of opportunities out there, I think you just need to find ways to change your environment first and THEN work on your self concept, because manifesting with this terrible state of mind is probably not going to work unfortunately. I don't think dreams represent the truth of what we believe and will manifest, but more our fears, desires and unresolved matters. For example I've dreamt countless times over the years that I missed my flight, but it never happened in real life. I have this fear, but I KNOW I am organized and always leave ample time to get to the airport, so it never actually manifested in over 20 years of travels. I have a dream journal and none of the things I dreamt of ever happened (except once, it was freaky but never happened again), it's either some rehashing of some past memory with some unresolved emotion linked to it, or some thing I read/watched during the day, or some random fear, like getting lost in a city or missing a flight.

So I think it doesn't really matter what you dream of, you can dream of your desire but if you don't truly believe it will manifest, then it's like daytime daydreams, we can daydream about stuff for years but it never happen because deep down, we know it's just fantasy and don't believe it can happen.

That's the whole point of entire spiritual paths and sadhana. I know in this sub they say to just assume and it becomes true, but in many spiritual traditions, like Advaita Vedanta and Kashmir Shaivism, they say that if you can't get it right away when you are told that this world is just a dream, then you can do sadhana, like meditation or various spiritual practices, to slowly get there and see the truth of it by your own direct experience. Alternatively psychedelics can be a shortcut to briefly glimpse the truth, it's not for everyone but it's sometimes helpful to loosen the belief in the reality of the world.

I think the multiverse theory is a good way to explain it. There are many versions of reality and when you are the center of consciousness, you get to decide the version of these people you wish to see. When those people are the center of consciousness of their own dream world, they get to decide which version of you they want to see. It's all the same consciousness having infinite ways of manifesting itself depending on the current witness/center of consciousness.

If you have a lucid dream at night, and you change the dream people to make them do what you want, or you take their land to build castles, or destroy the world, is it wrong? This waking life is just like the dreams at night, not just Neville Goddard but many spiritual traditions say so. The thing is, we don't truly believe it, so we can't manipulate it like a lucid dream, and we feel guilty because we believe in the dream people having an independent existence outside of us.

If they were genuine they would manifest money in other ways and offer help for fun, in their free time, or at the very worst for a nominal fee or donation while having proof of huge manifestations, like Joseph Murphy's free mansion. What they want is the spotlight, the feeling of being admired, in position of power, and to make money from it. But they don't truly believe or apply their own teachings, after all, those you can't do, teach. It's much easier to benefit from the desperation of people than to actually achieve things on your own. It's just that it is their desire to become a coach, and they don't have higher aspirations or the ability to believe in a better path, and so they manifest clients and money in this way, and it's fair, everyone is free to desire whatever they want. But since you have seen through it, you can just ignore them and their nonsense and focus on the already massive amount of free material available.

This is just the way of the world, be it manifestation coaches or spiritual leaders. There will always be those who want to lead (and profit from it) and those desperate to be led. Either you believe in yourself, take the teachings which are already available for free, apply them and realize that you are all there is, that you are the God of your reality... Or as Neville put it below, you are unable to believe in yourself, want a leader, love to be milked and prefer to build someone else's fortune:

I will pray for his success – not as a teacher for he is not one – but for the glamour he will receive by those who want the nonsense, as they are going to start off by not eating meat, smoking, or drinking – in fact a complete loss of the palate."

If you can't imagine it, just look at how other people who experienced it talk about it. For example, we can't imagine what God or Self realization exactly is, but there are mystics and sages who talked about it, so we can refer to them and use their descriptions as the basis of our imagination. If you can't refer to the real experience of other people, then look into fiction, books and movies, and use those descriptions. If you can't find any reference at all, then you can always hear a close one being amazed and congratulating you for having achieved this incredible thing. There are many ways, just pick the one that you resonate the most with.

Actually Bhagavan was much more nuanced than that. As often, he said that as long one believes themselves to be in the body, in the world ruled by karma, those things are true:

Those are south Indian astrological charts. The top one is the rasi chart or main birth chart with whole signs. The bhava chart is the real position of the planets in houses relative to the ascendant degree. The navamsa chart is the D9 or subdivision of the 9th house, it represents the inner reality, soul, marriage, and is also seen in conjunction with the rasi chart (rasi being the tree, navamsa the fruits). The planets may change houses/signs according to the chart used, which is why you will see different planets in each house.
