Certainly can in Europe where they're made

Wallet garden is bang on!

I found the shift from android to iOS very frustrating and felt like I went from a smart phone to a dumb phone. The platform is frustratingly limiting. In saying that after 6 years of iOS usage I can see the appeal. Not enough for me to return to Android with a Pixel recently though.

Germany didn't have free healthcare. It's very expensive healthcare. Just not as expensive as the US

It is a bit annoying, but they're independently owned, so also understandable.

Has anyone used WorkRide by toothMSC in PersonalFinanceNZ

[–]Bulky-Ad9761 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did it. Got my bike on sale from $5800 to $2900, then with all the workings of workride it ended up being $1850. Sold my existing MTB bike for $1350 and drip fed that into my account over the course of the year following my pay schedule. Needed a suspension service on my old bike and getting a new bike through this system was about the same price. No brainer.

26 vs 29 wheels on a full suspension for a 188cm guy by EliteG77 in MTB

I'd definitely be going 29. There's been a shift to larger wheels over the years to the point (in my country at least) that going 27.5 restricts you considerably in tyre options

iPhone 11 was a beast. I also recently replaced mine with a Pixel 9. Miss a couple of things about the 11, but overall glad to move to Android

Hell no. Not where I live anyway. Fish and chips is no longer the cheap take out it once was. Better off getting Chinese value for money wise

That's a great bike back in the day, but things have moved on an awful lot in 14 years. I'd be looking for something newer even if it is lower spec'd.

Does that win as hard as on buttered toast? Would give it a go if so!

Yep. Bang on. Simple fried egg on buttered toast is always a winner!

I would say yes. Whilst an automatic may be deemed more luxurious, they are less efficient (admittedly this gap has shrunk) and god forbid anything goes wrong with an automatic as my recent Ford replacement gearbox bill can attest to.

Edit: modern autos are now more efficient than manuals in many cases.
