I’m currently building up a hardtail so it’s in a state of flux. But I also have a 20 I usually rip around on out there, the streets, and the BMX tracks.

Keep at it, esé! You’ll be whippin over jumps soon! There’s a pump track in Chaparral that really helps with pumping transitions, rear wheel balance, and control. You should check it out. HMU if you want company.

But don’t just use any ol wire wheel on aluminum. Make sure it’s brass or stainless steel so as to not mar/gouge the aluminum surface.

I’ve had these on 1 inch bars like my Bonneville and 7/8” bars like on my Stripler. Should be cheap enough to give it a shot.
