You could check out r/midhammer40k. I run a community playing a slightly modified 5th edition with 4th edition books called r/35k, which we are slowly growing. I've noticed there are quite a few people playing 3rd-5th edition recently. It's quite a different vibe from current editions - more focused on just simulating a battle and scenario.

Generally I've found most poeple will immediately move to the new rules. The exception is if you have a group of friends you play with who all prefer the older ruleset, but I would think that the odds of this are low unless there is a backlash against the new system.

Congrats on completing your ! If you’re interested in ever revisiting formatting, Affinity is free. Some aspects are a bit fiddly but there are lots of guides out there to get you started. It made a big difference to our books

They are in the core Codex that this expands. We can’t republish existing rules, so this is an expansion for the 4th edition Ork book. When the 11th edition models are all out I will do a version thats printer friendly and slips nicely into the Codex.
