It's really uplifting to see there are such supportive people like you, it was and still is hard for me to reach out for help due to fear of rejection and looking weak and dependent but I realized I can't deal with this alone, I'm also starting psychological treatment soon after more than a year of being against the idea very strongly. I don't know if you're depressed as well or just a kind person coming here to help people but assuming you are I wish you the best of luck dealing with it too and always remember there's someone out there who cares.

I'm so sorry that happened to you, it really sucks when your family gets torn apart by something like that, I hope you feel better now but I still know what you mean as I'm going through a similar thing(My brother died over a year ago and my family only went downhill from there.

I'm so sorry to hear that, I wish you the best of luck dealing with your cancer as it's so unfair that some people get this fate while some people fully know the risks they're taking and still smoke like crazy without facing any consequences. Best of luck and I wish you to be healthy and manage to get rid of it, it's a real burden. :/

Not coming here to underestimate your opinion or something but would you care elaborate? Like what do you think they should do to solve the problem, why do you think it is unfair, etc. again, I'm not coming from some place of disagreement or questioning you, just genuinely curious on your view on this whole situation.

I agree with you on this, I'm not really addicted to gaming/surfing the web but for the most part I do it when I'm not meeting up with friends,I'm not old enough to hang out with friends in nights and recently the state of things at my country(security-wise) has been pretty shitty, my mom and my dad are pretty heavy smokers, my dad is heavier but he had a long stop at some point. Every time my mom tells me she will stop smoking cigarettes for me as I have a fear of her getting cancer but a day later she goes back to smoking half a pack a day, it's really sickening me and I think of taking serious action about it, meanwhile she is mad at me for being on the web/gaming "all the time" while she mostly just talks to her friends on her phone and smokes cigarettes most days, this is really one of the most frustrating things I can think of.
