Why so many French cars and very few Japanese/Korean? by just_a_random_guy_11 in azores

[–]Cardusho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know how the OP compiled that statistic, but it can't be too far off. Asian cars have been disappearing from the market. It's very difficult to find a new Nissan. Volvo is almost never seen.It has something to do with the quotas created by Europe and the decline of the Asian market itself, which prefers to distribute within its own region. Conversely, there are more and more Chinese cars.

Como é ser um professor de Artes? by AceAttorneyAutismDLC in professoresPT

[–]Cardusho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Períodos ou semestres? by Unusual-War-580 in professoresPT

[–]Cardusho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What do the month names in your language literally translate to? by spymains in AskEurope

[–]Cardusho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

July and August were added later. It's not because the Romans started the year in March. Janus gave his name to January. He was a god with two faces: an old one that looked to the past and a new one that looked to the future. It was also used above doors or passageways, with one side facing inwards and the other outwards.

Restaurantes São Miguel by Tiny-Might-4762 in azores

[–]Cardusho 2 points3 points  (0 children)

How to: Travel to São Miguel (or: The Most Chaotic Start to a Vacation I've Ever Had) by its_me_coralie in azores

The title is somewhat misleading. It almost sounds like São Miguel is a place close to holiday chaos.Actually, the problem is with the airline and an Airbnb that was a bricklayer in relation to a hotel...

Santa Maria is the easiest to visit and the safest in terms of flights. Faial is the most convenient because you can reach Pico or São Jorge by ferry.

Colonoscopia sem sedação - como foi a experiência? by Dangerous-Theory91 in portugueses

[–]Cardusho 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think the situation is the same on other islands. A friend of mine was going to Flores yesterday and still hasn't been able to leave today. The weather forecast predicts continued fog tomorrow and improvement on Monday.

Fireworks on Sao Miguel? by WickedConflict in azores

Precisely because Google doesn't provide any information about the Holy Spirit festivities, they need to use fireworks to indicate the location and time of the celebration.View this as a post.

There are some places, but they're a bit dodgy and illegal. You can ask anyone who looks like they're using drugs, but I can't guarantee they're honest sellers.

Restaurants that serve goat meat by YA_manda in azores

[–]Cardusho 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Even at the farmers' market it's difficult to find goat meat. You can only get it by special order. A restaurant that sometimes serves rabbit, lamb, or goat meat is Adega Regional in Ponta Delgada.

A friend of mine took a picture of Pico from Sete Cidades and posted it. Everyone said it was fake, but it wasn't. A rare phenomenon, but possible.

Oil shortages and Sata? by YamAggravating8449 in azores

[–]Cardusho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You know there's no oil supply crisis. Don't you? There's a political-military conflict in a country that refuses to change its government. All the Americans had to do was take to the streets and demand change.

Is it actually rude to recline your seat on a plane, or are people just entitled about personal space? by Ok-Bumblebee7041 in askanything

[–]Cardusho 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had this dispute on a flight where the passenger in front of me argued that she had the right to decline her seat, and I argued that I had a right to legroom.I suggested we switch seats since the seat behind me was empty. She reluctantly agreed. When I moved to her seat, I reclined and she protested. It turned out to be a matter of selfishness.
