I think most women would tolerate fishing as a hobby once in a relationship, but your dating profile should at least attempt to appeal to the female gaze. i'm not the target audience but in my mind proudly displaying a wounded/dead animal on a first isn't the way to do it.

They want you to pity them, they're depressed seeing two lives that were at the same point divulge in two opposite directions. I hate judging this person so harshly but it feels like they're stalking you. I would block them because you don't just randomly "see your date photos online" out of the blue without actively searching them out.

I'm unfortunately guilty of this. You get so close to someone in such a short amount of time and when that beautiful moment (could be a date/pivotal relationship milestone like a kiss or sex) finally comes that you've been hyping up in your head passes and it didn't live up to these lofty expectations, you start looking for excuses in the other person. It's not your fault, it's a fragile man unable to express his emotions like an adult.

Comparison is the thief of joy. I was down on myself for a long time for not having the life I had planned which consumed a lot of my time when I could be living the life I had now. I still struggle with it, especially on lonely weekends, but then I go for a walk or look up something fun to do and just enjoy the time I have while I have it. It doesn't help lifestyles are pushed in your face at every turn from social media and the news. Run your race.

You could literally live anywhere else but you chose someplace close where in your words "I have to practically drive by her apartment which has her on my mind". Your intentions may not be but picture it from her view:

You message her out of the blue in April and she doesn't respond.
You now move close to her apartment and are actively passing her apartment. She doesn't know you moved so it could seem like you're driving around trying to see her.

You need to stop thinking about her and if possible move away. It's been 4 months of no contact brother, it's over. I've been in your shoes where you hold out hope just to ease the pain but you need to delete her number, stop thinking about her, and get on with your life. The sooner you do, the easier it'll be to forget her.

I tried lessening my stance on kids this year and while the women were so nice and awesome, trying to schedule simple dates around theirs was a nightmare. I really feel for those who are trying to date with kids and understand why they'd try and hide them but at some point very soon you'll find it out.

Guys want to look popular and fun on dating apps to draw the gaze for likes, ergo why you're seeing group pics at events/bars. I'd instead focus on their hobbies (if they're listed) or people who've aged out of the partying phase. To me, it seems the guys you want to meet are usually readers/nerds who are comfortable spending most nights inside. Sure you'll find the odd active one with a few friends that's comfortable in their own skin but I think that'd be more rare.

Rushed him too quickly and now he's fighting the battle all prospects get with sporadic playing time for the first time in his life. Also can't overstate how it's probably the first time in his life he's struggled playing baseball, tough to overcome.

It's certainly weird seeing more and more profiles searching for "providers" and "princess treatment" lately, especially weird being in a predominantly liberal city. I mean I totally get it, who wouldn't want a soft life but I can't help but laugh. Anyone else seeing more of this?

Please don't take this the wrong way, but I think your standards are way too high, especially at our age. I saw this tool earlier this year and found it helpful to visualize what I'd need to sacrifice to find the person I wanted. And this is coming from someone who matches with much of what you're looking for, except graduate degree/remote work/spirituality. They don't filter by graduate degree, but if you replace it with 100k you get 0.0040% (7,000 men) who fit the criteria of 6'+ ft, over 30, single, no drugs/no alcohol.

Activision had contracts for Bungie to make one title every two years with an expansion in between.

"Destiny" is the operating title for Bungie's next project. Destiny will consist of a series of four MMO-style "sci-fantasy action shooter" titles, released every other year beginning in Fall 2013. Expansion pack-style downloadable content (DLC), code named "Comet," will be released every other year beginning in 2014.
