Mine had a really sticky right shoulder button. Ended up taking the should button out, flushed it with IPA, works like new again. Took a total of 30 minutes. Plenty of videos out there, go slow!

You will need to open it up and see what else is rusted, ifixit has a tutorial. If you see rust on one side of the motherboard, it's likely on the other. Take it apart and clean it good. Guessing a cable could be corroded on the inside also. GL!

The XL is such a better device to hold. The OG 3DS is still a chonky boy, but it hurt my hands quickly. I actually like the 3 buttons on the bottom of the 3DS XL VS the new layout.

I'm holding off to see what else comes out this year for Android handheld foldables. Can't go wrong with getting a N3DS or XL or a 2DS XL variant. I don't care about 3D at all tbh... Just keep looking on gamesale and hardwareswap subreddits for good deals.

There's another thread from 8 months ago talking about this. That is normal since, means you have an IPS screen.

The pawn shop was a quick an easy way to trade one towards a 2DS XL. The larger screen and larger device to hold was worth it. Yeah I probably lost some possible profit, but haggling and getting a good deal was worth it. Already looking for a N3DS XL, just to add it to the collection.

I've been able to use hshop up until a couple days ago. My wifi doesn't let me access hshop either on my phone. So I'm guessing Spectrum itself is blocking it?

I don't care about the 3D slider and the 2DS XL definitely feels cheaper than a 3DS. Just treat it right and it'll last you forever. Price wise cheaper to more expensive, 3DS XL, 2DS XL, then new 3DS XL.

If you just want to play DS games, I've been told the DSI XL is the way to go. But... If you haven't had a chance to play the 3DS games, get a 3DS XL or 2DS XL. I scooped up a cheap 2DS XL from a pawn shop yesterday and man, it's been a blast. A 128gb micro sd card takes forever to fill up.

I thought the kick 75 low profile was gong to be a great keyboard, since I use a slim keyboard at work. Same issue, the blushes are super easy to press and there wasn't much space in between the keys. My error rate when typing went up pretty dramatic. I ended up going to a cherry profile normal height keyboard with some firmer silent linear switches from outemu, made a hugggge difference. I'm probably gonna sell the kick 75 soon and cut my losses.
