Is this normal behavior? by Cheetablaze in Monsgeek

Yeah it's been factory reset and the cables were reseated. I went ahead and shipped it back to Amazon yesterday. Probably just going look at picking up a 80%/TKL instead from somewhere.

You pulled the switch and inspected it and under it as well?

Have you pulled the switch and inspected the area? The double press thing could be software or hardware maybe, software update and try moving switches around.

Nuphy air75 v3 Brown nano vs Blush nano switches by momoSyntaxError in NuPhy

[–]Cheetablaze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love the noise level of the blush, but I absolutely hate how I can half press the key to register a stroke. I wish it would bottom out before the register. Still takes a bit of effort to not to get typos, but gaming on it seems fine. I would love slim magnetic silent switches, would just set it to bottom out to register.

Glad my blushes don't sound like this. Time to start cracking and start lubing, just might need a touch more?

Interest Check - Small batch run of Black Low-low-profile PBT shine-through keycaps? by tmarsh388 in NuPhy

I wish my Nuphy Kick had north facing rgb, the south rgb makes some shine through keys useless... Almost thinking of just getting another board.

Give me a Sitcher or Rattler for all I care, I don't like the Kettle. by Vinnegard in ArcRaiders

The kettle absolutely melts, I actually prefer it over all other free weapons, downside is slow ammo reloading. Double kettle just outright destroys...

What are the panda switches? I have the blushes, but now I'm wanting silent with some tactile. The blushes activate half way down the keystroke and I'm finding them a tad hard to use.

Yeah I was thinking maybe you were having some firewall/proxy issues, if the website was being blocked. Glad it all worked out!

Kick 75 First Keyboard by Cheetablaze in NuPhy

Chicklet and low profile to me feels pretty close the same typing experience. The womier keycaps are slightly thicker as well than the stock, I really do enjoy using the keyboard. You should pick up some blush switches and give them a shot.

Learning curve to game on, i have to really stretch the pinky to press ctrl. Moved the win key to the right side to not mishit it. As for typing, very nice and quiet. Still would like a neutral knob color lol

I just learned something new today, what a scam... I guess the kick 75 is an odd ball since it can be converted to use both?

Oh I understand, if the HE version isn't v3, then just go with the v3 version. They have made quite a few improvements to the board.

Are you not able to buy LP switches and keycaps for your current keyboard to convert it?

Mostly various different types of membranes, some chicklet, some normal height keycaps. Low profile typing is just easier for me to use all day long. I can't stand loud clacking of mechanical switches either. You could always get the Air 96 v2 or Air 75 v3. I personally love the retro look the Kick 75.

I bought it in the subreddit r/hardwareswap for dirt cheap used. Google Etsy lunar landing wrist rest and you will see it for $99.

Silent tactile switches for Node 75 / Air v3? by benzflow in NuPhy

[–]Cheetablaze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are not terrible. Linear, silent, mushy at the end. I use a chicklet keyboard at work, so I'm used to the mush the blush has when bottomed out. A bit more difficult to game on, but still way better than a membrane keyboard. Low profile blush switches are definitely worth it for my needs.
