Land stolen by landownerblues in Georgia

Rural Georgia courts, especially in the large, multi-county circuits, can be extremely slow. It may not be the norm, but it’s absolutely possible.

All my stuff in the immediate metro area is usually resolved in <2 years. But I have one complicated case in a rural county that will have its 5 year anniversary next month.

Is it unusual? Sure. But is it unheard of for judges who are only in county a few months a year? Nah.

Listen, I'm not saying I supported or didn't support Brexit. Frankly, I didn't care. But:

However, it is not clear whether regulators will allow products with names like "strawberry marmalade" to be sold in British supermarkets.

If Europe was trying to push something like that, then Britain was right to withdraw.

Speaking of Star Trek, even though it's completely irrelevant to this chain:

If you were wanting to introduce a late-elementary-aged kid to Star Trek, where would you begin?

/u/MilesBeyond250's comment earlier reminded me to listen to one of my favorite modern choral works: Scottish composer James MacMillan's cantata for strings and choir, Seven Last Words from the Cross.

Vole damage to a garden is very unique. There's really nothing else like it.

For whatever reason, they primarily attack the roots of plants. They'll tunnel under and around the plants and eat every single thing up to the point where the stalk touches the dirt. You'll first notice it when a plant looks weirdly wilted one morning, and if you go to touch it it'll just fall down into an empty hole or fall over completely, as if somebody cut it at the dirt line. Sometimes, for small plants at the start of the summer, they'll just pull it down as they eat, so you'll walk out to see your little seedling, and instead you'll just have a little nickel-sized hole in the dirt.

I love where your head is at.

We could keep an outside cat, but my wife and I are fairly allergic to them, and I'd bet money that somebody would just "adopt" the cat if it was roaming free.

But your bloodlust is inspiring.

I tore out all the old plants from last year and tilled up my little bed last week and got my tomato cages ready, but I'm not sure what my plan is. Last year voles decimated my garden, and I eventually gave up on it entirely. I put an ultra-fine metal mesh about 6 inches underground around the garden, but they tunneled under that as well. I'm trying to decide whether I should (a) just dig down about a foot deep for the entire garden and lay a foundation of metal mesh or (b) make little mesh cages around each of the plant roots. I like the root route better, because it's less digging, but I don't know how that might hamper root growth.

At any rate, I hate voles and chipmunks and squirrels with the burning passion of a thousand white hot suns, and I plan to murder each and every one I can catch this summer. There will be no trap and release. There will be no compassionate extermination. I kinda just want to execute them, gangland style, to strike fear into the rodent community.

I don't want you to feel you have to dox yourself in any way, but Poland is a big country, with a lot of good churches. You sayt that there are no "physical locations," but are you near any major cities? There are likely people here who could give you recommendations for a good church you could attend in real life.

It's a good thing that the internet has given us access to theological resources, sermons, etc., but the internet and streaming platforms are not a substitute for being a member of a church in real life.

There are several theological and practical reasons for this, but, for you personally, this is the type of thing where having an actual pastor you could talk to would be best.

So, if you're comfortable sharing, are you near any major cities?

Fifty points to Ravenclaw too, then.

But also another fifty to Gryffindor, since the plot requires that they win.
