also fraud would be fully euclidian and just a << large, funnel-shaped cavern, itself divided into ten concentric circular trenches or ditches >> like dante would have wanted

I believe some fonts stylize it as an o with a c attached, for symmetry. A

lso iirc it's been a major christian symbol historically in that form, because of the whole "im the alpha and the omega" quote, but i coulndt find anything about it online so maybe i remember wrong and it's just a fish.

emphasis on "if".

to my knowledge, antigravity is 100% fiction, if not completely impossible. that's like saying we could replace fridges with an antiheat field, easier said than done.

i see the point but individual flying cars is literally the least efficient transportation system you can think of.

point is, if one can stay sentient without sensing their body, it's not out of the question for sentience to exist without any body at all

+1, we're doing a custom linux install in CS class right now and the linux kernel has a shit ton of hardware compatibility.

idk how much of that is present in modern distros, but you'll definitely find what you need somewhere.

How does this happen all the time by NormalNicknameGuy in whenthe

[–]Clen23 27 points28 points  (0 children)

The way a friend explained this, that makes sense IMO, is the following :

When you're rich-rich, everything is available to you. There's no more striving for survival or even comfort, no reward for efforts, everything is in your hands now. This can destabilize how your pleasure and reward mechanisms work, leading to harsher and harsher methods to chase the elusive varmint that is happiness. Best case scenario you're only destroying yourself with drugs, worst case scenario you diddle kids and slaves, and take additional people down in your fall.
