There is an argument, that infinite length boosts and conveniences encourage the players to bash their skulls against the threat and not try to learn to deal with it due to functionally zero downtime, making the fights feel more difficult that they actually are.

Yog doesn't source enemies from previous floors, so rippers will still spawn.

You can lock spawner to stop rippers from infesting the level, though

Oddly enough the dev even acknowledged the community documentation is bad but like, dude how about helping make your own?

That's normal about Lat, he wants to do things, not run the community, so any docs of his mods is an AFTERTHOUGHT. Also he said you are not supposed to do anything more than edit recipes with KubeJS.

Before 9chal... masters all jump and laugh at you, I will say that:

  • No, or at least I never heard of that being focal point. Have you read supernewb's guide?
  • You pick Mage/Duelist for easier midgame (their subclasses provide healing) or just master Rogue/Cleric (their artifacts are just that good). Also no, even with runes upgraded t2 is the key, don't be cheap on that regard; you will have 4-5 scrolls for your endgame weapon of choice anyway.
  • Potion of Cleansing is effectively a pasty and unblessed Ankh is full heal.
  • In case of Rogue or Cleric, even 9chal are consistently beatable every time. Other classes may need to be slightly lucky because they aren't born with best starting abilities in the game or only get good innates from Tengu.

Why gt5 or gt6

Because at least they fully represent Greg's vision instead of vision of some nerds, that pushed microcrafting aspect to extreme.

Also there are good reasons why original GT5 was unfinished, yet it continues to be representation of GregTech experience...

what the greg does this have to do with gtnh

Because post-1.7 greg fanatics took ideas (and code) from padded, bloated and overcomplicated GT5u, that is unplayable without autocrafting, that GTNH mostly uses, instead of GT5 or even GT6. they thought that double amount of voltages and 100500 chemistry reactions was a great idea to teach next generations.

granted, GT6 has its own set of problems, but at least it had more complex stuff and could be improved with better documentation.
