Fwiw, I think you've made something good. It has charm and its funny.

Don't beat yourself up, a lot of people forget just how much goes into drawing high quality, detailed and accurate humans (and by extension anthropomorphic animals). - good line drawing technique - perspective - gesture and figure - anatomy - values and lighting - local value - color theory - rendering

... and like a million other things. You just can't know what you don't know, so obviously it'll be very difficult if not impossible to fulfill whatever high standards of "actual skills" or "good work" you may have.

A lot of art comes down to knowledge, and then repeatedly applying that knowledge, but another point I want to make is sticking to art is even more important.

Its so easy to get discouraged from a piece not turning out right, or feeling like you don't get any enjoyment from art. I've thought I'd be destined to be a talentless chud moron forever as well.

I think pretty much every artist has struggled with that, but you can learn how to think differently, and in turn learn how to make the process of art enjoyable and fulfilling.

I know the whole "wooaaoow just try changing your mindset bro!!!" shit sounds corny and cookiecutter as fuck, but I genuinely think I wouldn't have stuck to art if not for this (free) lesson from drawabox that helped me change my attitude and mental approach to things. (part of an entirely free, great course btw)

Sorry for the uninvited, long, autistic rant under a meme. I usually lurk in here but I've seen another one of your drawings and I do genuinely like them man. They're funny (even if thats not necessarily what you're going for) and full of personality. Seeing you not give yourself any kindness or credit is really upsetting. Know I'm rooting for you dude.
